Honestly. That deployment was terrible. First of all, he could have had his fingers ripped off if the rope got tied up on the car. Second of all, he deployed at an intersection, endangering whomever else may be at the intersection, also it was easily avoided by the suspect. Third, he was in the road while deploying the sticks, if the driver was careless enough, he could have easily been hit by suspect. Stop stick refresher courses and training are needed for SAFE and EFFECTIVE stop stick deployment.
