I just dont want the story to be another dialogue choked, off screen action having, mostly stakeless and jargon heavy slog, maybe it's a cultural thing but i dont get why the lore has to be so nebulous and symbolic over tangible and familiar/ relatable. And somehow everyone's with it too, like Penacony in HSR looks cool, but it's like 15 hours of tutorials on a world and characters that has no business being this elaborate, half the dialogue would sound shizophrenic if you read it out to somebody not familiar with the game lol. Serious it makes interstellar or inception seem comparatively straight forward, yet the pay off just isn't there because you could not care lol.
i think it's a bit hard to compare the 2 when things like the attack stats are ledd on the break build and you decided to run a crit body piece? why not just put a atk body piece instead against a crit body? this video seems like it's made with the persceeption of crit being better but the even have less attack can effect his ult damage. if showcasing a crit vs build I would recommend using any other body piece that's not crit and make sense for comparison
Game seems to be more of a competitor to Hi-Fi rush than anything that exists currently It'll find it's audience solely on that basis, it being as responsive and as generous as star rail is up to the devs
Honestly everything apart the character designs doesn't sound good or appeal to me. Frankly i've had enough of the casual combat gachas and I want more control in my games.
Are there characters that are more simple/easy to play? I've completely stopped playing action games, but really like the vibes of ZZZ. Do I get omega dumpstered or are there some characters that would be more suitable for a non-action game player? Having no healers sounds scary.
Hoyo is very good at making the starter/free characters good at teaching core mechanics. I wouldnt worry about the game being too difficult either, the curve is always pretty slow in gacha games.
Honestly, I really like how ZZZ is Hoyo's take on PGR and WuWa is Kuro's take on Genshin. Regardless, with Kuro's pace with releasing and subsequent recent patch change for WuWa, they definitely see Zenless as a threat. I loveeeee ZZZ's music, atmosphere, character design and setting so I'm pumped to play and see how well they listen to the playerbase like in HSR (as opposed to Genshin lol). I love Genshin and been loving HSR so I definitely think ZZZ will hold strong
Yeah, only enjoyable in combat and after the player will ain't no more bcuz only combat is good, like a I play honkai star rail, I'm bored the story is good but the battle mechanics the skill always repeating skills only 2 or 3
Anyone afraid? Not in a bad way but man I'm playing too much gacha, right now I'm with 3 : blue archive, honkai star rail and now WWW the release this month. My honey spot is 2 gachas, 3 is manegeble but more than that is difficult to maintain (man I become weak I use to play 6 gachas : epic7, blue archive, honkai impact 3rd, genshin, nikke, brown dust 2)
Same dog, 15 years ago i used to look for f2p mmos and even tried incrementing clicking games just for longterm timekillers. Now we have a bunch of decent to high quality f2p games (with more coming like Pmugen and Apromilia) that will last 3y+ minimum with monthly updates but barely time to juggle lmao

I'm playing 5 gachas atm and with ZZZ that will be 6... I've also pre registered for pmugen, azure promillia, duet night abyss.... I hope no good gacha games will be announced in the upcoming 2 years lmao im not sure how i'd handle that while working full time and being a full time college student...

I'm seeing myself some months ago I will be honest with you I'm enjoying way more playing less, let's you appreciate it more the games in your own pace not rushing because of multiple gachas are having a event you know, at first is hard to choose the ones who will stay by then you will letting go and then you realize the less is better I currently play blue archive (super cozy game), and honkai star rail, I used to play 5 but then I drop one, drop another when I see I end up in 2, WWW I downloaded but to be honest I have no will to play, the game is good but genshin drain me go in the open world gather chest is not for me anymore, but I ended loving the gameplay.
@@poke8391 Ahh yes i see where you're coming from. I currently play genshin, hsr, wuwa, reverse1999 and afk journey. I think what has kept it quite easy to handle atp is that hsr and reverse are turn based, and in afk journey you can legit just afk and only play the story when you're itm. I personally love open world games tho so unlike you it hasn't drained me at all. But hey, as long as you are enjoying yourself that matters most! It's just a hobby anyways, it has to stay fun (: And i've seen blue archive yeah. It looks really cute but it sadly doesn't have a pc client besides emulators. I don't play games on my phone >.<
29:10 wuthering waves is not competition with ZZZ, its competition for genshin. Its not the same genre as zzz. But for genshin it is and it does well to compete.
I know the GOAT tectone says it isn't a competitor for honkai and zzz....but it is Most people play more hoyo games than one but if ww replaces any of the mihoyo games.....it takes one of the mihoyo games
Okay so when I say competition it’s more so as they are releasing in similar time windows and gacha games tend to see their biggest exposure at this time. While in the open world aspects they are completely different and it’s more similar to Genshin. Things change when it comes to the combat and I would say Wuthering waves is more similar to Zenless zone zero than Genshin impact due to the dodge/parry mechanics and similar combo systems - jumping in Zenless zone zero which does bother me. I plan on going more in-depth about the multiple games feeling in a later video to further explain these topics. Sometime this week.
@CyanTril umm, idk about that. That's like saying fifa25 is competing with the next WRC rally. They both may be categorized in sports, but one is a football (soccer) game, and the other is a dirt road racing game. Motersports and football are both sports, but they don't attract the same players. Just like I don't honki star rail at all. I don't like the TBS gameplay, and I will never enjoy HSR. But I like genshin and WW, ZZZ is a different kind of game entirely. It's like when I'm in the mood to play survival, I'll play Subnautica, but when I'm in the mood for space exploration, I'll play No Man's Sky. It might have visual similarities, but that's it. They are not the same game and not competing.
This game look kinda like another mid action rpg.. With a mihoyo company tag The character design is each of their own tastes. Im not feeling it in this
After playing HI3rd for two years or more, I noticed they made the Combat there more braindead so I don´t expect a lot still I will see if they improved with this
I think they intentionally will make combat here more casual right from the start. I think the combat in HI3 and Pgr might not really be for the masses because it is too complex
