You forgot a couple very important things A. Know how deep it is- you need at least 6 feet especially when learning and you pitch too far down and hold the throttle too long. Have broken many a motor mount and cracked noses.. especially doing nose stabs in surf B. bilge pumps - doing subs, nose stabs and learning barrel rolls will fill these things up fast. Dual 500 bilge pumps or scupper kits are smart, both even better.
if you’re watching this, check out my newer video for much better riding: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-jQInWAYHntE.htmlsi=75hQSFsNh9s1EnGp
I'm building a 1.8t 058 as well. How did you convert the fluidampr crank pulley for use on an 058? It says it can only be used on an 06a and I'm wondering what you did to make yours work. Did you also find a billet crank gear? I only found one that works with 06a blocks or did you use that one on your 058?
I don’t think fluidampr makes the part anymore unfortunately. I would shoot them an email and ask though. I have the 058 dowel pinned crank gear from IE. all of the websites in the US say “no longer available”, but i found this one in canada. not sure if they can ship here but maybe shoot them an email too comotorsports.ca/1-8t-timing-belt-gear-dowel-pin-kit-058-early-1-8t-and-16v-iebeva6-usp.html
nope. it will allow water into the hull, but that water gets siphoned back out into the river as you start moving again. if you take on too much water, you could suck some into the engine and cause your ski to run poorly
@@maxmyslewski so I’m guessing there is a large air box which isn’t anywhere near filled by these submersions. Cool, thanks. I’ve always wondered how this was achieved
hey, the oil returns line is working fine? changed my Original turbo for a .50 48 turbo, i got oil leak at the turbo - they said it happens because i didint changed the oil line, the car got some smoke from the turbo also.
soft suspension. I tried turning the compression up, but I I need stiffer springs. i’m new to track riding so looking forward to getting it dialed in and feeling better
Man this looks like my old shreddy grounds of the Del River! Where you guys rippin?? Im looking to get back into stand ups and could use some shreddy crewsman!
the first one is a yamaha 701 62T with a cofman pipe. the other one is a 750 big pin. and my white one is a bone stock 650 lol. more details on those 2 are on their instagram @wave_crasher_ if you wanna check them out! thanks for watching man
@@larrywarner9314your exhaust should look a little bit different where it mounts to the head. everyone was telling me the 600s do not have exhaust valves… but my engine does
You should try a 360 camera for shots like this. I use a GoPro Max and the stabilization is insane. It locks onto the horizon, so the video is smooth and level no matter how hard you're riding.
i’m too cheap to buy a new camera lol. the gopro was mounted to my chest this video which made it rough…. I’ll have it mounted to my helmet this year if we ever get snow
@@maxmyslewski I’m a Polaris Guy ! And a Victory Guy ! @@kadeemmeggett6324 glad you figured it out man. seems like every single 1.8T jumper harness has at least 1 or 2 things pinned wrong. talked to a few other guys with them
i bought the hull with them already installed. you can buy them here standupparts.com/products/pwc-body-parts/footholds-foot-holds-ultimate-freestsyle-mod-for-any-stand-up-jetski-or-superjet/
thanks man. I ended up taking it to a shop a few months ago. I was having some issues with the lambda sensor fluctuating like crazy, plus I wanted them to check over everything and add in some other sensors. I just lost motivation with it tbh. Hopefully it will be back on the road within the next few months
