from non-american/westerner here. what I see is Western is never free. ur, institution has 3 branches. 1 government and military 2 corporations and the riches 3 people and the media government seems free but the reality they serve the riches. the rich control through media, so people choose what goverment they like. and lastly military do all the dirty works from goverment order which the rich told them so the people can get the crumbs
They definitely have a point here though. Voting doesn't decide shit in our country, it just tells the government what they need to be acting like they're doing. Lobbying is what actually decides our governments actions.
