You do not want it to become a tourist trap. Take it from someone who has generational family in Key West. It's better for the place to be poor. You can just say goodbye to the culture, the natural environment, its people. Everything will be killed off. Our reef in Key West totally destroyed by tourism. I remember when I was a kid 40 years ago the corals came close to breaking the surface of the ocean they were so grown. Now just dead black nothingness at the bottom of the ocean. Don't do it. Don't do it. Don't.
Hi! It makes me so happy to see some impressions of this lovely place I´ve been to about 20 years ago. I really appreciate that you didn´t change much of this stunning property and I hope I´ll be able to return soon. Best wishes to you guys, Andrea (from Europe/Austria)
As a small boy, I had to learn how to grunt for worms near Sopchoppy, if I wanted to go fishing! It was usually hot and humid, and the nats and skeeters would feast on your flesh. Things were a lot simpler back then...
This looks easy, or at least how you showed in detail and I am trying for the first time this week... Pray for me. Ps. What and where can I get that knife.
