The organic 40 pound felt is junk for tile. After the heat and a couple of the lugs on the tiles punch holes in the 40 pound. In like 2012 I thought it was a good product but it’s really slippery as well as easily hole punched.
That valley is wrong! Your going to leak buddy. The underlayment is supposed to weave pass the valley , then install your metal valley. I’ve been roofing for 27 plus years…please take note. You don’t want a call back. ------ The way you set it up the water is going to come down that valley…catch the edge of your underlayment and shoot back under your underlayment and ice & water shield.
Your right that's a better quality material but that wasn't what the customer and I agreed to. It comes out a bit more in price so they went with an economical deal. Ice and water shield comes out like an extra $1200 to $1400 more. But I love your suggestion. That would make it top 🔝 notch!
@@Thetreefella your roof is only good as what was used to nail the underlayment ..underlayment nailed on with roofing tack doesn't have holding power verses using button cap that has more resistance against any windlift on the shingles..
