Hi there! I'm Ann, an artist, maker and retired educator. Most importantly I love JESUS! Life wouldn't be the same without Him and any gifts or talents I have are all to His glory.
I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts and enjoy a variety of art and creative mediums. The name "Scrappy Scribe" was born from years of scrapbooking, scrappy quilting, journaling and devotional writing. I believe that studying God's Word and putting it into action is the best way to live a peaceful, joyful and stress"less" life.
So far this channel has been primarily Bible Journaling focused, but it could include some quilting and gardening from time to time. I am also a list maker and obsessive organizer so planning and organization will probably make an appearance as well.
Thank you so much for stopping by and taking the time to read a little about me. Please subscribe, share with your Jesus loving, Bible journaling, creative friends and do remember to hit the LIKE button on those videos!
I like the idea of adding the die-cuts to the devo pages once I’ve gone through it. I do enjoy adding the smaller stickers to the Bible I carry to church in the margins and highlighting the scripture. I’ll add some of the devotional notes sometimes too! Wonderful reminders!!!! I’m always looking at ways to create more simply now, given life it hectic and enjoy supporting several of the small Bible journaling businesses!!
Hi Debbie! Thank you for stopping by and watching. It was so great to meet you at the retreat. I seem to change up systems from time to time. Sometimes I clip into my devotional as well.
Beautiful! New subscriber here. I love how you combine the devotion with journaling. I would love know more about finding places to get these devotions and the printables. Hugs Gina
Hello! Your channel looks amazing! Can't wait to spend some time there. This devotional is from By the Well for God. They bring out a new kit once per month, but they also have devotional printables for other shorter studies available all the time, as well as books, Bibles, music and journaling supplies. They are a small family run business and I love supporting them! www.bythewell4god.com
Hi how are you?😃 I was wondering if I was to use a candle to wax the thread? I'm sorry if it's a silly question. God bless you abundantly! I love the way you explain things 😁. Thank you so much, I am very happy I found you🙏😃
Hi Anji! Thank you so much for watching. The problem with candles is that you don't really know what's in it or the melting point of the wax. It may be sticky or leave color on you paper. Bee's wax is always best! You can find it at craft stores with book making supplies or order online. Have fun!
