I am very sad well have lost a great friend Steve Wright and yes I have tears in my eyes but then I think about all of his great radio shows and boy do I laugh he was the bests as my self and all people all over the world he was the legend we will miss you Steve Wright
I was in an empty pub in london one afternoon with someone i used to know and chris Evans walked in with 2 other people, we ended up sharing a couple of pints and completing a crossword in the paper . A glorious hour in his company.
@@bendennis7730me too, I was devastated when he passed, I tuned in to Sunday Love Songs when he was on, I still listen to it when Michael Ball is carrying his torch
oh that was sad we didn’t get to hear Chris interview Mark and Lard! Such a shame when they left the Radio1 afternoon show they’ve never done another slot together.
Age old argument that the pirate ships caused interference to marine frequencies...total hogwash ! The stations were ran professionally with commercially made transmitters , not some home brew lash up.
It was frequently suggested that the pirates interfered with other marine operations. Despite the fact such stations as Caroline and Laser operated on a totally different waveband!
Peter Philips - what a truly high-class presenter he was on Caroline. That superb voice, and perfect diction. He puts today's BBC standards to shame. Where is he now?
You bet your FM life! Sounds great! It's exactly like my great Karl Burtonshaw106.5 FM ident says ' Karl Burtonshaw says make an anagram out of the word HITS! That's what all the other stations play!! '
hes an arsehole and he fucked up again today 14/5/19 by saying Daniel Craig twisted his ankle while filming the latest James Bond in Jamaica and had to go to the USA for x rays,Why go the US when we have Xrays in the UK!!!!,
@M-ARKY ah i get it now,you think its quicker to get to hospital in the UK from Jamaica than the US?congrats you are right up there with the Wright prick
