I can say this with my whole heart that "The Royal Tenenbaums " is my favorite film of all time. BUT! I can see your points here. I think it reached me so deeply because I was so young when I first saw it and it changed what I thought movies could be. The colors, the music, the very strange people in it. I was a young burnout who thought he was so much smarter than I really was. And saw myself in the kids turned broken adults who find out they are still good. Still worth finding peace for themselves with or without Royal. Excellent list and excellent breakdowns . I look forward to more videos!
Only seen poison so far, it was great in my opinion, with the acting, shots, artful moments and he short overall! Watched it with my mom and dad, dad thought it was pointless and mom hated it 😭.
I find it weird that your channel gets almost no views. Apart from one video, the rest gets no attention at all. Keep it up mate! Although I doubt that you will stop due to a lack of views, since you have kept on uploading. I think I'll watch your catalogue of videos when I find some time. Your editing style is quite good
It's not just about themes though it's also so that the songs can bleed together. At Desert Daze '18 they played an 80-minute set that only had like 3 pauses for applause. That set had a perfect use of this concept because it opened with Mind Fuzz > Balrog and the last sequence of the set was River > Nonagon > Lord of Lightning > Cellophane > Altered Beast, all seamless transitions. They basically sliced Mind Fuzz and Lord of Lightning open and surgically implanted their entire discography inside. Idk this sort of things makes a lot of sense when you're high.
I haven't watched all the Wes Anderson films, but the only thing I would swap on your list is Isle of Dogs for French Dispatch. The French Dispatch was really good in its outside but really annoying at its core, a majority of the dialogue wasn't interesting that Anderson's classic monotone character emotion didnt do it due diligence.
There are too many coincidences in the lyrics for the Gizzverse to not be involved somehow. We straight up see characters and events across different songs and videos.
I really love your channel so much. You put so much effort in, and you review every part of the films you talk about piece by piece, not just the story. As a huge film and theater nerd I really appreciate how much attention you pay to literally everything, right down to shots and lighting. Thank you for making such good content 👏

Salut, This helped a lot, as I only bumped into The Gizz just last week. I met with the epic, "Rattlesnake".... my very first track.I wandered in lost and hungry, but almost immediately, I had become skeptical of the power this shiny beast held; a thus unheard monstrous band, composed of untold layers of complexity. What I spied and subsequently encountered was well beyond me, so I sought for a roadmap before furthering the immersion; and here we are.... This is the point where I shall offer my special Thanks! Cheers!
