Razor's Edge is brought to you by MANTL, the world's first premium skincare brand for bald and balding men, which regularly interviews remarkable bald people; uncovering their stories, the journey to baldness and the mental health issued associated.

We are not trying to be the ‘agony aunt’ for the follicly challenged, more the big brother, the voice of support, reason and advice on not only how to help men through hair loss, but to come out of it with style, class and confidence.

Above all we want our readers/members to be living life to the full, embracing their look, rocking their style and in the process, become the true gentleman.

Razor's Edge supports CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably).

Stumbled across your channel and it hits home! I loss my hair at 24 due to alopecia universalis and it was a rough go but I can completely relate to you lads. You weren’t the only one to shed tears after the “final haircut” 😂 Sending love and good energy from Canada! Keep it boys

What about Cooper peptide and GHK-Cu, as a topical are you really getting what wanted if it's no some subdermal injection

Male pattern baldness is a huge advantage for men. You can shave your hair short and shampoo out the dead hair every day. It saves a lot of time and effort.

I cannot believe that there are people who are proud to look like this. Amazing what you find looking for razors. If any of these two walk in my office they would not have a job. People who do not have hair ALWAYS look unsettling. Being bald means you are less likely to get a job or a good woman. The 280 pound woman are the skinniest a bald bowling ball head can get. These are honest facts folks.

I think this whole polarisation on RU-vid between the bald acceptance crowd (you guys and Baldcafe) and the fight-against-it crowd (More Plates More Dates and Kevin Mann etc.) misses the point. The decision of whether to go bald is irretrievably dependent on the individual's circumstances. There is a tendency with the bald acceptance crowd to characterise those who fight against androgenic alopecia as people in denial, or people who can't accept their fate. That's true in some cases but not in many. There is a rational case to be made for combating androgenic alopecia with medication, the side effects of which are hugely exaggerated and not substantiated in studies. On the other hand, the medication crowd tends to shit on the bald acceptance crowd, which I think is just as stupid. You'll see them denigrate the bald acceptance crowd as the "just shave it bro" crowd in a derogatory way. Again, it's context dependent. Sometimes guys genuinely can't fight against hair loss with medication, or they have left it too late to fight, and being bald is effecting their mental health. At that point, shaving isn't about the balding per se, it's about salvaging their mental health. Again, I think there is a massive lack of empathy between both crowds and think the tribalism between bald acceptance and the medication crowd is completely idiotic. All us men are in this together; we just have to accept that we all have different ways of fighting it.

There is no such thing as rocking a bald head, its merely making the best of an involuntary disposition... You will never be the natural choice of 99.99% of women… It is what it is!

100% - it does seem like balding/bald men are fair game! It's hard at times, but you have to rise above it. When people realise you don't care and they don't get a reaction, they won't continue

Joe Rogan is a good one for me. He had a hair transplant way back in the day which didnt work and now rocks the bald look with confidence. Id be interested to get both your opinions on things like hair transplants and scalp micropigmentation, and whether you think these are genuine options for the average man losing their hair?
@razorsedge9252
@razorsedge9252 3 года назад
Yes, Joe Rogan is very cool in an understated way. We've heard the story about his hair transplant - I love the fact he is that honest! We will get into those topics - they are genuine options, but expensive and not a permanent reversal. All options are longterm, which is a big commitment beyond your initial outlay. You'll need further treatments ongoing to maintain the effect. We would ask: is it really worth it?

Really great video gents. I took a lot from that. Going through a difficult period at the moment and some of the points you made around responding to 'banter' has really helped

This is kinda pathetic tbh. Hairloss is a treatable condition and most people are much better off with hair then without.

Good to hear a different view. We're not suggesting being bald is the only choice - but if it is your choice, it's not so bad!

The treatments are expensive to various degrees and many are time consuming as well. I accepted my baldness, and have no regrets. I just wished they had a product that would make the rest of the hair on my head to go away too... Besides, lots of women find men with fully bald/shaved heads very attractive.

Patrick Stewart made me want to be bald before I was even losing my hair. But for my money, Larry David is King of the Bald (even if he's never fully shaved it all off).
