@@aefanboy3464 Yeah. I'm running a Hobbywing Bandit 13.5 and have it geared at 28/87. Haven't pushed it yet to see what the temps go to, but I'm running sensored, so I'll see where it goes.
Just wondering where you got the dividers for the 2nd drawers on each system? I was in the store and the ones I looked at only had one drawers worth of dividers.
@@t39gamer honestly it went by pretty fast.. had mandatory pit stops at 100, 200. 6-7 second laps.. I bet it was inter 20 minutes. Nitro mains are an hour! Longest main I have done is 30 minutes in nitro sedan and that is enough.. lol
So was this a class heat? Or just open practice? Seemed like the bright all orange car had quite the power/speed advantage in the straights! This is such fun racing to watch! Can’t wait to do it myself!👍😎🏁
@@JFlyer1973 I think that was the first heat run. I have her car tuned down.. that’s the problem rookie mechanic tip. As she gets more dialed in the more she gets. We are sitting at a 2 day race as I type and she’s cranked to 100%
@@mattyleadfoot haha, I do know about helping novice drivers and have helped parents get their kids having more fun. Number one tip is SLOW THE CAR DOWN. They don’t need 100% throttle!!!
@@chrisvda7277 right now I have a 13.5 Reedy Fixed Timing and a HW Juststock. I need to get it out and push it.. I do think I need a few more pinion teeth. I think I am sliding a Reedy 600z in there and need to clean up the wiring. I have the new drift kit showing up any day so rally and drifting will be the forefront when I’m not racing dirt oval and driving Element Trucks!
He just was mouthing off about everything.. I did film his DE racing tire gluing live on his FB page if that counts.. Honestly the car is pretty solid, has lots of available upgrades and she drove it pretty easy. Just did purple AE springs FR/LR and blue AE FL/RR.. 37.5 wt oil.
@@PonkyKong it did NOT come with the complete front bumper. This was a pre release kit so not sure about now. Guessing not since it’s not in the manual.. you would need part numbers 71094 and 71187
@aefanboy3464 the kits out of stock. So I'm guessing it's going to be a few weeks. I like how it has the scale look. The RTR is too much $$$. But the kit is perfect.

There is plenty adjustability in this thing and pretty sure it would do great. Being able to raise and lower the transmission is nice and also trying the 4 gear standup transmission will make it suitable for pretty much anything I am guessing
@@aefanboy3464 I can give u my email a few of my customers are running them in the east coast championship this month from the feedback I’ve gotten they do better than any of the ones out there and they are cheaper I don’t charge an obsurd price for them
I got some and they are flat. I did order a hoodie when I won another MT12 but they are definitely “China” size. A 4X hoodie in China is about a 2.5X in US… 😲
Yes he was involved with Customworks.. not sure he’s in it anymore. Lot’s of full scale guys run the Chili Bowl.. I think the guy that won Street Stock is a big time driver.
She’s having fun.. going to take the overall winter series championship. My son can’t go next week so I am going to see how she does in his sprint car…. Hopefully she beats me…

@@aefanboy3464 either way, as long as you’re running it and tinkering with ;) I remember my first was Traxxas Nitro Street with a corvette looking body… oh dear it took me close to a year just to figure out how to get the engine tuned to where it runs reliably 🤣still have that old thing, ashamed to say I haven’t run it for close to 15 years…. Keep on keeping on…! PS the “pro” guys are fast 💪 lovely slides, I’m totally jealous 🔥
