This is not to discount violin, but just to say that chitra veena seems more metaphysical and violin appears less metaphysical or more. physical. But in brova barama violin by mellowing and following Chitra veena with slow pace melody has equally scored with Chitra veena. Thus violin played with more bhava and less mechanical way can match well. But this is left to the artistes
