Chronic Pain Patients were not consulted about this. Our lived experience does not matter. We are controlled like criminals, legally obliged to attend pain clinics where we are still not heard but ordered to do things that harm us..like have our medications refused, tapered, completely taken away. We have no rights. As CPP, we are not addicts. In fact, we would have better care if we were. We would have rehabs, support groups, counsellors, suicide watch. Opiates give us a little life. They give us no high as they match up with pain receptors in our brains. We rarely go on to stronger medications, we are law abiding citizens. The opioid crisis was a construct based on rat studies by Maou, Chou et al. Chou stacked meetings so his bad science was made into law, other doctors have made millions as expert witnesses while we have suicided from pain. These people are liars.
