It's good to clean rust once in a while, you don't want that in your bloodstream...

Miraculous results!!! I have a whole house full of burned stuff and smoke damage. Don't know where to start! Could you please recommend a good small ultrasonic cleaner?

Wait when the heater exchange start to leak water in those machine and get ready to spend over $2000 to replace it... Right, Prochem made a smart move to get money from people and decided to make a $2000 part that is not fixable.. Same as you own a car that worth $2000 and one day you get a flat tired and you have to trash the whole car because the tired cannot be fixed..

I just fixed mine with epoxy resin ..10 euros...works perfect...necessity is the mother of invention.

@@brianokeeffe8621 Man, that is an old comment and your reply brought back some memories.. Im not in the floor/carpet cleaning business anymore but i remember how many issues I had with my Prochem machine.. Yup, to fix the heater-exchange, i remember that I had to cut it off all the way around, pull out the serpentine, find the holes with a pressurized device, weld the holes and put everything back togheter.. The point is that it should have been made in a way that could be open to replace/fix parts when instead, Prochem just tells you to buy a new one as it cost only $2000.. Right... Im advise not to buy any Prochem machines. Good luck 👍😉

I did the same thing man cut off the spout at the very beginning of using this rig. Used it to fill powders at first then it became the silencer! Or my 1/1/2 shorty lead hose I use for the stair tool/tile tools ect. Does have a high pitch wine I can't even stand sometimes. Also a must for the overnights when you have the high end condo people are not far away. I Winterize and flush out the main water hose with the funnel as well.

Been using this machine for almost 13 years now. Very dependable machine I have put barely anything into put general maintain. Keep a eye on that pesky chemical pump diaphragm too. Been changing out that every few years. Very simple to work on this rig. Always makes me Money and can't remember leaving a job because of failure. It is a GEM.

Use Brulin Alkaline Deruster HD on the really bad stuff and Brulin 815GD on smoke damage and sensitive metals. Thats an awesome unit you have and a great tip for the smaller bowl. Ultrasonic waves pass through w/o having to change your main solution! Thanks!

My advice: Get a funnel with a spout no wider than 1/2" ID at it's widest and cut most of the spout OFF. Kills the whistle, loads the machine a little so it warms up faster, and is handy here in WI for sucking the water out of your pump-out and solution lines in the winter.

@digitalPimple The solution for cleaning rusted metals is Omega De Scaler from OmegaSonics. The main tank solution is Omega Smoke--the majority of our work is removing smoke residue from household contents. The Omega De Scaler is in the smaller stainless steel bowl.
