2:49 Actually Nest Balls can be use as an alternative to the Quick Ball when dealing with weak Pokémon that run or teleport like Abra and Ralts. If they are under lv 16 or below it's basically a Master Ball.
Pokémon Scarlet and Violet's should probably have player customize the characters in different brand-new outfits than them school uniforms in this game. Different shorts, pants, T-shirts, vest, jacket.
Honestly, Scarlet and violet just felt like sword and shield but with 10 more unnecessary trainer battles. Legends arceus on the other hand, removes all of that unnecessary running around trying to look for a certain encounter all day, or traveling across the map to get to a gym. Instead, we have Pokemon all over the map, and boss fights you can do to progress the story. Another thing about Legends arceus is the amount of things you learn about the story, if you actually sit there and read the dialogue you might learn something new, like a mechanic for example.
The outbreak symbol is the same as the social ribbon. What I am confused about is there are at least 3 different outbreak symbols on my map. Some have a gold glow, some a red glow, some are a question mark. I’ve been searching everywhere for an explanation.
Legends plays better and that’s the important part. I love the format and story of Scarlett/Violet but the experience of playing really weighs it down. I still genuinely enjoyed it. But I’d rather replay legends.
I totally did not pay attention to what the trainers said to me, assuming I'd just have these clues and hand them off to the person when I was ordering. It took me far toolong to figure out what to do after making mistake after mistake. :p
I've at least caught 2/3 of the paldea pokedex with quick balls. Never needing to fight the pokemon and just throwing one at the start of a battle has been amazing.
Of course I focused on every gym first, before doing the "titans".... cuz I don't like that dude haha. I wondered why can't I surf tho? I went around almost the whole map, except the water, finally caught a Dragonair with Surf and couldn't figure it out. Glad I watched this and now I feel dumb haha
I tried to follow your directions and I ended up at the next Pokemon center I couldn’t figure out which turns you made due to you skipping ahead in the video
0:50 Please, thats what Pokemon just wants us all to believe. Breath of the Wild dispilutes that immediately. Breath of Wild ran great and looked leagues above Scarlet and Violet and better than Legends. Using the switch as the reason is a horrible argument. Pokemon just runs horrible because they dont take the time. Overall, I reqlly disagree with you. Scarlet and Violet have more because as you said, theyre main line games so more is exprcted and they still fell flat. The characters were weak and the graphics were atrocious. I had to crawl to get through that game. Meanwhile, I couldnt take my eyes off of Pokemon Legends. I actually caught every pokemon and I loved hoe it actually felt like i was going on an adventure versus in Violet I felt like I was running around a bug sandbox just waitibg for things to happen to me. Its not even a competition hobestly.
With mods and graphics and speed fixed on both reshader texture packs and all .Arceus just seems so much better gameplay wise I love that you can move around while battling and the overall design just seems better ,I dont understand the terralize putting candles on my head I hate it 🤣
Gamefreak is dogshit at open world... the license needs to be given to a more competent developer, going forward... Also... it's first party... NO excuses for the bad performance... Tears of the Kingdom exists on the same console...
Legends Arceus is way better than Scarlet and violet, the reasons are : 1. Graphics, it just sucks in scarlet and violet and its worse than legends arceus. 2. The way you catch Pokemons in scarlet is just like any other Pokemon game like you just walk to the Pokemon ,but in legends Arceus you can either battle and catch Pokemons or you can even catch it by throwing the pokeballs directly. 3. Imo,i think the new Pokemons in the paldea region just sucks and i didn't like it at all. I think that even the Pokemon sword⚔️ and sheild🛡️ is better than scarlet and violet.(Imo)
I would say your still limited in Scarlet Violet, because if you go to far without progressing in the lore, you are going to get your ass kicked by level 50+ Pokémon. Also it would of been a slightly better game if they considered level scaling, I mean its a Open World game and you should be able to start your Gym Battles or Team Star base at any order you want without having to worry about being under leveled. Also Pokémon haves a thing for Ed Sheren music, they should of stick with Post Molone in my opinion and don't say "hE wOuLdN't bE aPpRoPiAtE fOr kIdS gAmE" even though the English Sub/Japanese Dub of Pokémon have some cussing in it mainly "damn" or "hell."
Why even bother comparing them? Like if my left shoe had dogpoop in it and my right shoe has cat urine i'm not gonna sit there and wonder wich foot is better of. I just won't wear these repulsive shoes anymore. Like weither the like the dogpoop scarlet and violet Or prefer legends cat piss It really doesn't matter gamefreak is selling us shovel ware anyways
I stopped playing pokemon by the time X/Y released since I did feel like it's the same old pokemon with upgrades. But it was arceus who got me back in. Can't wait for the new Legends come out
Legends is by far the better game. They have far less glitches and performance issues, then violet. it has more interactive and complex battling system then the traditional battling system. it makes it way more fun to catch Pokémon and makes you want to complete the Pokédex. It has a postgame also. It has just as good of a story, if not better than Pokémon, Scarlet and Violet. If there was just more trainer battles, this wouldn’t even be a question and if there was some sort of battle trees, but the great part about the game is, it doesn’t need to be a fantastic game. Also, having boss battles, were you literally could pass out and you could get hurt not just the Pokémon makes it so much more of a fun game with the boss battles that you fight yourselves, and have to dodge and everything..
Not to mention the catching mechanic in Legends makes sense for that game because it wants you to catch lots of the same Pokemon for the filler tasks. It doesn't work for mainline Pokemon because you'd complete the entire dex with little to no effort.
I honestly wouldn't say Scarlet/Violet 'excel' in the story department.. It's all pretty meh until the storylines converge. It feels like you're just doing 3 different things over and over again, it feels more like a checklist than a story. And I *hate* how mainline Pokémon games suck up to the player nowadays, and the characters are just so flat most of the time. Doing 'that' walk in Legends Arceus felt amazing and I loved the fact that it had some teeth in terms of writing choices, even going so far as to suggest you could actually die out in the wild.. I actually felt on edge exploring and coming across like an Alpha Raichu that started calling down thunderbolts or something. SV feels like an amusement park.. The worst (and coincidentally most annoying) thing that can happen is you bump into a Pokémon because it was barely visible or the collision sucks and start a battle, wasting your time until you run/knock it out. With the 'checkpoint' Pokémon Centers they could have easily kept Pokémon that actually attack you, especially because if your team got taken out, you could still literally flee yourself! I really hope Pokémon evolves. I really, truly do. Violet, DLC and all, really just bored or annoyed me. The only thing I cared for was the first time you go down Area Zero, the game just wasn't fun enough to actually play much otherwise. And I really, really want to say differently. I guess Xenoblade 3 just really spoiled me.
