Every few weeks we'll feature videos ranging from automotive, homesteading, travel, livestock, gardening, tools and machinery, woodworking, and outdoor rural life. You'll see a variety of tips, reviews, life experiences and storytelling from the perspective of a rural Tennesseean.
When you want to dispose of the rust-and-gunk filled water, how do you? Is it safe to pour in the toilet and flush? I guess it probably would, since rust isn't usually considered a toxic metal (like e.g. mercury, lead, etc)? And of course, sodium bicarbonate can be eaten (and in fact is often added to food as 'baking soda'). So I can't think of any reason why it couldn't go down the toilet?
@@American-OutdoorsNet That's a great idea, but I'm an apartment dweller and I'm not sure that's permitted lol Although, is there a risk the soda makes the soil either too alkaline or too salty?
@@American-OutdoorsNet Ye I didn't get there till about 11 on Friday. Was planning on being there earlier but my fuel filter and carb had other ideas so I had to limp back home and thrash on the fuel system last minute. I only live about 20 minutes out in the woods easy of the fairgrounds haha.
Late square bodies (last facelift) use different style oil pressure sending unit, which combine function of a sending unit with an on-off switch for a fuel pump relay. General principle of operation is still the same. Just checked the readings of my replacement sending unit and it seems to go from 0 to 90 ohm sort of linear between 0 to 90 PSI even though gauge reads only up to 60. There are also some quirks like the resistance changes in noticeable steps and there is a visible hysteresis between pressure going up and decreasing.
Hi I purchased a 60’x20’ Hightunnel kit from Growers Solutions. I’m 60 yrs old, and my husband is disabled, so I built most of it by myself. It took 2 years. I’m not in the best of health, so I could only work for small amounts of time, and the heat of summers, rain storms, falling off ladders and recouperating, back issues, and a Myriad of other issues made the process long! Late this past spring I finished it! Then I put together 13 very large corrugated metal raised beds for inside the greenhouse. I’m happy to say I’ll be picking tomatoes soon! One frustration I had was that the instructions are vague is some places. And the living traditions instructional video seemed to gloss over some key areas, leaving me to just “wing it”.
I'm in Michigan. I have bought fire apparatus without titles, not that I planned on it. Got the run around after I purchased. FD did not have a title, as most were never titled. It is a an expensive and time consuming experience. Don't buy unless you know what you are going to be up against. In Michigan you need to post a surety bond, for twice the purchase value and a VIN inspection by a law enforcement officer before the Secretary of State will issue a title. It is a Pain in the A$$, and will cost you $$$..
Having a vehicle and not having a title in your name is called jumping title which is against the law in most states because you must pay sales tax and be legally listed as an owner preventing a crime being committed with said vehicle all youneed is bonded title in most states which is not expensive but takes a while for all the paperwork if you know everything is legit with the car that is the key. A lot of mid information here as I live I. One of the most restrictive states regards g titles and title fraud
As a used car dealer for 30 years and car collector my suggestion is that UNLESS your health, happiness and overall well being is on the line if you don't own that car you're looking at......PASS if there's not a hard title. Now IFFFFFFFF........those categories are not a problem, dig deep for patience because once you get the vin# you can then start doing your homework and find out the protocol of each state. I use a private DMV registration service which is terrific. No matter, if it's a cheap parts car or an expensive unit having the correct paperwork adds tremendous value. A parts car with no paperwork? Ya might have to cut it up rather than haul it to the steel mill. An example of a lot of unnecessary work because of bad or no paperwork.
I was 22 years old with a yard full of GM cars and trucks. A buddy stopped by one afternoon and looked at the mess and said "Man, you can't own every single old Chevy there is." I looked at him and replied "Yes I can."
Good information. If your state has private vehicle title companies they will be a lot easier to deal with than a state DMV. We do here in Calif, and it makes getting a old car on the road a lot easier.
I have a 1991 V3500 crew cab square body in South West rust free condition with new crate engine, rebuilt 4L80E transmission. The last truck like mine I saw sold for $50,000.
@@American-OutdoorsNet I did, however it seems like my starter is retaining energy. Could it be because it’s a mini starter and has a magnetic setup? Also appreciate the reply!
bro , horrible video just to bitch about a company, do your story, then show the repair , or do the repair , then show yor story, breaking it up back and forth all adhd is garbage and is why im not watching the rest of your video.
I ordered a cover direct from them and it is poor quality as far as fitment , they offered a refund minus shipping ... $90 , cover was 255 . so i end up at a loss for a poorly fitting item . decided to fix it by adding to the areas where it was short , yes it wasn't that i needed to remove material , i had to add , then try and paint to match . I've purchased aftermarket ABS parts for motorcycles without these issues unless it was a racing part where detail is second . on their site it says " Made From Durable ABS Plastic And Vacuum Molded For Perfect Fit " , right . Seems like they are the only game in town for this type of product , profit > quality .
Thanks for tuning in. Believe it or not, and I make mention of it in the video, yes there are worse repos out there. I wish it wasn't so, but much worse.
Love the bat wing windows. I'd love to get a 2020 or 2024 put bat wings in it and give it a modern but old school vib fall guy paint and roll bar and that hidden compartment
on my 75 suburban the fuel gauge is reading at 3pm spot with key on or running. shut off it reads half on full tank. also tried another gauge with same reading
I'm looking to install this type of alternator on a IH Farmall 826 diesel tractor. It has a Delcotron externally regulated alternator and the old wiring harness is totally shot, grease encrusted, dried out, frayed, cracked, bare, broken, turning green, and none of the lights or gauges worked anyway. Hoping to simplify this absolute rats nest of brittle broken crap and get rid of it. All I need to run is the starter.
i have an alternator, the harness has3 wires protruding from its connector, 1 of the 3 is bigger then or thicker than the other wires. i m attempting to create a generator for another idea of an inexpensive e-v conversion i intend to use the alternator as the genset that will power the 120vac or 240vac electric motor using an inverter. my ideas are plausible well thought out ideas nobody is willing to help pay for anymore creative ideas coming from me. hard lesson to realize i live
I can hook up a 12volt car battery charger to a 4000watt inverter and still have enough power to run a hair dryer for example as long as the genset is creating perpetual power it can and will run for as long as it is plugged in
women think i think i m a baby men think i think i m an idiot and babies love me cuz i'll blaze weed in the childrens section at walmart. i m so sick of humanity gouging m,e for creationalist ideas
I think they are already taken over my garage but normally every summer after they do that they start taking over my front door. If I make the fake hornets nest by my door will that stop them right there?
