Car has 195K miles. All of the sudden stopped shifting to all gear. The thought which got confirmed that the transmission fluid got so dirty and clogged passages within the valve body
My error code 22-01 excessive change of the vehicle speed sensor signal, I already ordered this part in the video. My symptoms are when I am driving and put gear to neutral when I slow down to traffic lights, the rpm is bouncing. Really annoying, I will come back with news after replacement.
It ended up not the sensor. There’s another video in the channel when I replaced the cluster I got the instrument cluster from junkyard and it’s working good so far; my issue fixed
1: Do you think one can poke round with a coat hanger to try to knock it around a enough without dropping the diff? 2: What about using a spray lubricant?
I used to place a cotton ball that I dipped in penetrating oil for over night and didn’t fix the issue but each case is different. Your may not as bad as mine so I encourage you to try simpler ways
Thanks for watching and commenting The oil is on top the head cover. Really around the oil filler cap, nothing around the hard cover gasket. I thought these caps last forever. lol We will see and I hope this fixes the issue
Thank you so much , this is the only video who solved my problem , other videos never told the viewers that there is another nut at the inner side of the power steering pump, i was about to the torch the belt to expand i suspected that someone installed a very tigh belt heated it so he can make expand and fit. More power to you and make more videos of Nissan.
Thanks. Same issue. I can get my hand up there and feel the vent breather. So what SHOULD the breather feel like? Should it spin or go up n down? You mention that yours rotates now? Is that my goal?
It should spin. Not sure if it goes up and down But it should spin What I highly recommend is you make a good habit like once a month to go down the car and spin it free. If yours are free to spin, this won’t take time at all good luck
If you check my channel, you gonna find a video about replacing the filter and flush RAV4 Because the fluid was kinda dirty For this Honda, knock on wood, the fluid doesn’t get blackish.
Im Egyptian American who grow up in Egypt Yes and yes Egypt is very safe at anytime day, night or even at Dawn. I assume you gonna be in Cairo so stay in main streets and use Uber in transportation. The worst can happen in some touristic area is people will try to sell you stuff that over priced I always say you tell them nicely No Thank you even they push just repeat it and they will go away. - if you want to buy something and you hear a price, tell them %25 of what they ask for then haggle your way up. Don’t pay over 50%. Then walk away and you gonna see how they accept your offer - Egypt is still 3rd world country so take this as different things to see not as a negative - Keep one roll of toilet paper in your purse, it will help you a lot. Just do it and you won’t regret it - People expect tips for everything they do and they don’t do lol Break 200 Egyptian pounds into 10 bills and use they for tips like when you use public restrooms Watch lots of videos about tourist experiences and advices
Thank you !! I agree with you, accomplishing a task feels great even it’s not the best. I had no clue about many things and I learned a lot through this project. Thanks again
This would work too. Mortar absorbers are water and easy to get removed. The issue would be with smeared mortar, not the big build up. I tried a rough dish scrubbers but it didn’t remove anything even after I wetted the surface. The lesson to me was to minimize the mortar on the surface or wipe it right away
You are absolutely right. I thought about this but I wanted the area behind the patch to stay hollow is as. If you look in any rocker panels, they do have two open end holes in the design to allow air to go through for some reasons, may be to dry any trapped moisture. I honestly don’t know why these two holes are the end are open with no plug or something to prevent water, salt , from getting within the rocker panel and may corrodes from inside out In part 3 video, I did some alternative
What a waste of time for this person. There is so much rust around the patch that it will just rot out on both sides of the patch. He should have just cut all the rust out and bought a new bigger repair part and install it.
Body shop quoted me $4800 to replace the rocker panels. I finished the job. Part 4 uploaded. It’s my car, not someone else. I do what I physically see better. You only judge a video. All comments are welcome; just wanted to explain my point Thanks
The sides are not good but I needed them better than cut them off and have 19 inch long patch relying on 2.5” contact areas at the ends. I did double butterring on all a surfaces and should help build some strength in the side ledges area. I will Not have any issues to show failure in the future (may hod forbid). Thanks again
