Awesome video, Reesy! I'm mostly looking forward to the dynamics between characters, the new soundtrack, and environmental storytelling! So hyped for this game!
@@reesyve Will you be doing a reaction upload when it drops. You're one of the few people I see covering this game right now and i'm hoping to binge watch a bunch of plays just like the LIS games.
The only good Life Is Strange was part 1, and perhaps a little bit Before The Storm, all other parts ruinned the game. So I have no expectations for a part 4, I really don't care. Part 1 was a piece of art, and it will always be one of the best games I ever played.
I don’t care if a lot people didn’t like True Colors, I would love it if they bring Alex back since I really loved her character in general (she’s also very pretty to look at lol) but with longer and better storyline. I do think after finishing all of the games, Life is Strange 2 is the best out of all
I didn't mind LiS2, need to play it again to get 100% and find all endings. But for me LiS 1 is where it's at, have to come back to it every few years or so. Still to get to True Colors, also didn't mind Before the Storm but seemed lacking.
It sounds like you've stumbled onto the trope known as "I Just Want to Be Normal." The character receives something or has something inherent to them that they don't want, and they instead desire for normalcy or a return to it than fulfillment of whatever the story demands of them due to their special nature. Desiring the status quo is relatable for the audience, and it's easier to write resistance to the thing than it is to write endearment to the thing. If the writer decides to make them entirely unaffected by the existence of the thing, they usually end up with a Mary Sue of some kind.
oh I can definitely see it being easier to write resistance to it like you said. It can be a catalyst for character development. I like your take on it.
Vader's story is the core of Star Wars. I would recommend Episode 1-3, then Rogue One and finally Episode 4-6. 7 movies in total makes for an epic story that keeps you guessing to the very end. If you wanna venture past Episode 6, Jedi Outcast and Jedi Academy are on par with this game.
@@reesyve Jedi Outcast and Jedi Academy were made before Disney bought Star Wars. They are part of Legends, an alternative to the canon since 2012. But the only true canon is Episode 1-6, anyone who says different is trolling. The thing with Legends is that it never contradicted those movies, it just built on them. The same cannot be said for the canon Disney have brought us. But by all means, check out both Legends and Disney canon and form your own opinion. Star Wars is at a place now where the word "canon" only means something to the ones who like the Disney canon. So the fanbase is divided between Legends and Disney canon. Which is very unfortunate.
Yes, I've played fallen order, I actually made a review for the game too: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-olHA09utUAI.htmlsi=-wYoWIDdKXQTo6Du
I beat Rayvis first try on Jedi Knight difficulty, but it took all of my stims and even then I was in the red on my health. I thought it was a perfect mix of difficulty and achievability for that point in the game. Same for the other main storyline bosses.
Like I mentioned, I didn't really know much about the game until recently. I'm curious, when the game was first announced to be in development, did the developers say it was going to be live service or did they just announce that last year?
I'm going to comment on this and forgive me in advance. I'm not from the USA so I'm watching all this from afar and the impression I've got is that people there are very divided in their opinions all the time and don't want to listen to each other. So what you see as a result is just people complaining all the time. One half of a political spectrum or another - someone is always going to be unhappy. Here, for example, we reportedly have lesbian romance between Ivy and Harley. When Ivy becomes a child her lover makes a joke about her being "fun size". Radically conservative people complain that Harley is shown as a creepy predator and Ivy is sexualized as a child. Is it fair? It's just one line of dialogue. But imagine if it was a male love interest for Ivy and he said exactly the same thing. What would happen then? There would be exactly same complaints but from radically woke guys. Would it be fair then? But funniest thing is that even if this joke wasn't there at all same groups of people would still critisize this game for it's romantic storyline. It would be "Unnecessary woke agenda" vs "Another unnecessary straight romance". Which is bad for me because I'm always a sucker for romance. Any well written romance really
You are definitely right about people complaining all the time. Although, if people are upset about Ivy being a child because they wanted to see Harley and Ivy romance then that's understandable. Most of the backlash I've seen regarding Poison Ivy is that they are trying to make her "woke" or whatever. Like I said in the video I haven't done much research on this game, I was just going by what I seen. Thanks for telling me your point of view!
@@reesyve nono, that's not what I meant. My English isn't ideal sorry. As I understand it there is reportedly a romance in the story but then Ivy becomes a child. And Harley makes a joke that people are not sure about. "You are in fun size now" It's said to a child Ivy by her adult lover . That's where most of the outrage comes from. They'll probably cut this line from the game but it was in a leaked cutscene
I was debating on whether it was based on the fact that anya has mind reading powers which I consider a fantasy element, but I get ur point because the whole show is mostly action
@@reesyve It's primarily an action-comedy infused with elements of detective/mystery and centered around the theme of childcare. I understand your point about Anya's mind reading powers acquired from experimentation, but I wouldn't classify the anime as fantasy or sci-fi. The main focus leans towards a wholesome action/comedy.
Hi there. I like your reaction, which contrarily to a few others I have seen, went way overboard in one way or the other. That sense of measure made me subscribe 😄Looking forward to more content from you. Writing this on Tuesday, 12 December and to be honest, I can't wait! 🤣🤣🤣
THIS!!! A BLADE Game is a FANTASTIC idea. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾This has so much potential the artstyle, colour and lighting is astonishing. The character designs look amazing even the baber looks good and Blade looks like he came straight off the pages. And the fact this is going to be 3rd person is just what it needed, the elements of Dishonoured and Deathloop could easily be translated and built upon to fit Blades combat and abilities. Out of the upcoming marvel games this is my Favourite.
Just to make it clear: Bethesda isn't developing this game, they're only publishing it. The game is being developed by Arkane Lyon, who worked on Dishonored and Deathloop. It's a perfect fit for Blade, imo.
Thank you all so much for watching, I appreciate all your comments and suggestions! Keep them coming ❤ I'll definitely be reacting to more trailers from the game awards so subscribe and stay tuned! 🫡
unrelated to the subject of GTA but youtube has been randomly giving me random videos from channels with like 100 subs or less and ive been loving it. so nice to see content from genuine creators and not companies lmao, subbed!
