I know I always say I love the character of Jon Snow, and he is my absolute favorite. But I also love the entire cast of GOT... even Ramsay and Joffrey. Those two did such a good job of making me despise their characters, which is why I know their acting was outstanding. All of the actors made the wonderful story of GOT real and effective. Netflix's witcher writers never came so close to a masterpiece like GOT, and they had the books available, too. But they wanted to write their own story while lying when they claimed they were writing The Witcher. The only good thing they had was the best Geralt they could find in Henry Cavill, and they drove him away. If they wanted to make their own story, they should have done that instead of butchering The Witcher. The showrunners of GOT knew what they were doing, and I know they get criticism because of the last seasons. But they mostly stayed with the original books for as long as they were available. So many love GOT because of the dedication of the entire crew to get it right and bring an amazingly complex story to life. GOT is a masterpiece! I wish Netflix's witcher writers had created another masterpiece. But they lacked the talent and vision to achieve something so great, even when they had the right actor and original books. They still could not even come close to the GOT show series. GOT remains, in my opinion, brilliant and unrivaled. Jon Snow was such an inspiration to follow. The characters, sceneries, plot, scripting, costumes, and CGI were phenomenal. This show will forever be a treasure to me!
The difference between The Bastard Of Winterfell is he was the only one that did his duty not for his own personal gain. He did it for the north and the world!!!
All that world building, character development, foreshadowing, and emotional investment and he doesn't kill the NK and just ends up north of the wall again. DUMB DUMB DUMB RR is too rich and famous to finish the books now too. This story is never going to have a proper ending.
I don't think we will ever forgive the writers for destroying the very essence of Jon Snow. He was loyal, brave, kind and smart. He would have made the best king and his character was built to take it. A rushed ending with no character development for Danny and even less for Jon. Tyrion was a fraction of the man we knew. What could have been....
I like these kinds of videos showcasing a character's growth, deeds, and importance to the story, but.. This one is kind of jarring with how constantly it's changing pace and tone.
Jon is literally the song of ice and fire and they destroyed his story. All they lead up, all that developed, and for what?! So he could go North in exile while a muppet sits on the iron throne. It breaks my heart
It seems that the majority have been spoiled by the usual theme of fantasy stories where the ending is always a happy one…. Consequently, it appears as though the majority are incapable of appreciating a more realistic fantasy storyline…. The truth is, Jon was the Song of Ice and Fire BECAUSE he was a Targaryen who did not want the power… He just wanted to DO what was right… He never wanted to be King… His song was sung in Westeros: he did his job…. he did what the prophecy had set out for him… He was to lead the people of Westeros to battle the Night King… That’s it… And he did just that. The best part about Jon is that he never wanted power! The best part about Jon is that he never sought after power! The best part about Jon is that he was simply put, a protector of the realm….. A sword in the darkness…. A watcher on the wall… If he became King, it would has went against his entire development as a character and everything that Jon was as a person! Jon’s story was, in my opinion, the best story of the entire series even though his role became pretty weak in the end due to rushed writing. But again, the fact that Jon simply wanted to be a sword in the darkness EVEN AFTER finding out who he really was……. THAT is what makes him so great… Real Jon fans never wanted to see him king of the 6 kingdoms! We wanted him at peace and we all know that role would have never brought him peace especially after all that he had sacrificed leading up to that point…
Never been a bastard.. a true and last male targaryen who even touched the dragon's head.. united the wildlings and his army.. lead the army against the dead and won.. a true last deserving king? But.. they humiliated his legendary character at the end.. my heart still breaks wen i remm his end!
