Great rendition. It's the only composition officially credited to Ringo and George and Ringo performed such a great rendition at the Concert for George. Always loved this song since it appeared on Ringo's first solo album (which I still have)
Loved this! it's a powerful song that I've not yet learned. I LOL'd when I realized that I didn't realize you are the Men at Work artist until halfway through!
Beautiful. “And I need you more than want you And I want you for all time” One of the best love lyrics ever. I loved this song when I first heard it as s as kid. Will always love it.
Love this so much. I missed this interview when it aired years ago. Loved colin since the 80s. His music made my spine tingle. And craiger. His best was as confidence in red dwarf. Love and hoping for the best of futures for these 2 gentlemen
I've worn out the play button with Overkill! There's only a handful of songs that wear my button down. I love your music and voice! The only other artist I'm hooked on is Boris Brejcha. What a contrast. Lol. Thank you Colin!
Hey Col, is it true you went to school at Beauie High? If so, me too. I wasn't sure if it was an urban myth. Oh, and in 1987, I saw Relax with Max (THE coolest and tightest soul-funk band evarrrr!) playing at a little pub in Rathdowne Street in Carlton...with guest star...Greg Hamm playing sax with the band. He was amazing. It was such a cool night and Greg played so well...doing a whole of of improvised solo bits with the horn section. Good on you Col! Keep on truckin' and towin' the line.
My mind is bending backwards and forwards through musical genres and decades as my 40th high school reunion and the MAW soundtrack approaches. So much love for this. ❤
