Appreciated.. Finally some actual close videoing everyone else is at least a meter away and despite them showing their process twice it's still a blur. Cheers finally clarity

I’ve watched 10,000 snap & rivet videos. This one is the best. Thanks for including the mistake. We learn best from those.

I just watched your video on leatherwork, and I must say that I am impressed. I started out maybe 8 years ago. My work, initially, was rudimentary and crude. The sheaths and pouches did just that: they did the job they were supposed to. But they weren’t pretty. Over time I got better. I added more tools and experience. The resulting leatherwork started to look better. I learned more by watching your video. Thank you for posting.👍👍👍

You could use a piece of wood and a blunt tool to create the stitching groove.

You don't have the right snap setter. It took me a while but i finally found the correct tool. I use a press for setting grommets and double cap rivets. It works much better that the hand held setter.

So I’m a single momma of 2 sons. We all collect knives, which I’m still learning how to sharpen so I can teach them. But would love to make us a sheath for our favorite knives. Then maybe be able to teach them as well. So thank u again so much sharing this. I grabbbed supplies I thought I would need, which was no where close to what I need. Haha… only reason I know what a bevel is bc of trying to learn how to sharpen our pocket knives. I got the idea a couple days ago then after watching many videos figured I had bitten off more then I could chew. But now I have hope again. Thanks again so much. We will see how this goes. And by the way. LOVE the background music.

Should have the flap and snap over top from the first molded piece. Looks incomplete. I would have liked to see how you stitched it anyway.

thanks for a great tutorial.. i've just gotten into leather and was using some random snaps and unknown sized setter that I had laying around, and they were all coming out a mess.. I went ahead and ordered the Tandy Setting set ($24) and some snaps.. Also, thanks for the tip about having to sand down the shafts to the proper lengths... should help a lot.
