Believe it or not, Greenwich has a McDonald's and a Walmart. Even the wealthy like to save a little. Since McDonald's raised their prices sky high, it's the place where the elite meet to eat in Greenwich for sandwiches.
Souvent papa🌟 nous emmenait en famille en voiture à Baltimore , pendant nos vacances aux USA🇺🇸 , ce n'est pas loin de Washington ( District of Columbia🌟 ) !!! ☺☺☺
Clean nice medium size city with 10 to 12 story buildings (on average).....Unfortunately, as most american cities it's car-centered not pedestrian-centered! I would love to see a walking promenade along the seafront! 😊
THANKS FOR THE VIDEO, I SEE YOU KEPT WITHIN THE SOUTH EAST OF THE CITY, BUT THE NORTH WEST SIDE IS ALSO BEAUTIFUL, WHERE THEY ARE BUILDING THE NEW WORLD CENTER, THANKS AGAIN
Impressive video! Thanks for taking us there. Knew the city in the mid-1960s and early 1970s. Not too big and not too small. Lot's of beautiful trees, neighborhoods, commercial buildings, homes. Was safe enough, never had any trouble there. Still looks good. The poverty is not the fault of the city; it's the economic system and the war on the old, industrial, northeastern, post-WWII cities and the rise of suburbia.
Stamford would be even more amazing if they could find a way to install safe bike infrastructure and pedestrian plazas. It's such a car-centric place like so many other cities, my only gripe. But that's an issue with most cities. Other than that, it's a livable place overall--walkable, for sure. Must keep working on Cummings Beach to make sure it stays beautiful.
Had our car stolen from the Temple Street Garage February 2023- the city, who is the owner of the garage was not too interested re insurance, video etc. No calls returned. That visit cost us $10,000. . Would not recommend a visit! Crime ridden!
It's amazing how comfortable, on-brand, stereotypical, "Hogwartzian" Collegiate Gothic makes a campus. Caltech, Scripps have charming mission revival; UCLA, USC and even Stanford have Romanesque, Dartmouth has Georgian, but nothing screams "This is college" and "You're smarter for stepping foot here" than campuses like Yale, Princeton or even out-of-place Duke.
Main St. looks pretty depressed and a lot of closed shops - is that no longer the area to shop? where is the best place for restaurants and other services such as nails, hair, facials? thx
This is so beautiful. I'm Very pro suburb (and anti urban centers) for this reason. It's so calm, lovely, and green. Most cities are nasty (to me). There are so many city types that want to get rid of suburbs. I say, let people choose where they want to live and mind your own business. I'll be checking out other suburban videos on your channel if you have any. Thank you for sharing this. I really appreciate it
Looks so nice, and I bet they don't put up with Antifa and BLM and the like as Portland City crumbles and loses its tax base because of rampant crime and corruption.
