Thanks for this video. Can you do another video about how to do regular maintenance for Precor TRM 211, especially how to remove the front plastic cover for maintenance? Also, for this model, is one of the power cable prone to get burnt overtime which can cause it to NOT power on? Thanks!
Hey Dr Wen, thank you for supporting us! Unfortunately, we don't carry the TRM 211 anymore :( and don't have any left in storage to do a video on. If you contact our service department, they would be more than happy to help you out :)
That's a great question! Matrix consoles don't get sluggish or slow down like an iPhone overtime. Occasionally, after about 5 years of continuous use the console may need a software update. We can do this for you or, you can follow a simple video online. that will walk you through the process quickly.
I just bought this bike. My motivation was having to have two total knee replacements within the next six months. Everything I've read encourages the use of a recumbent bike post-op for rehab and a successful surgical outcome. John at the Rochester, NY store was very helpful with all my questions and selecting a bike. I purchased it on a Sunday afternoon and it will be delivered on Tuesday!
For walking and light jogging this treadmill would be great. If you plan to run frequently or use the machine majority of the week jogging 5 miles+, you may want to consider the XT385 that has a thicker deck and higher quality rollers for improved longevity. If you have anymore questions or want to try these suggestions out please, come visit us in store!
Thanks for the tutorial. Helpful. Do you happen to know how to reset to factory default on these consoles to wipe out all settings and start fresh? Thanks
Thanks for illustrating how to lift/lower. Smooth. So far a great treadmill and appreciate knowledgeable, local staff who can fix if needed. Would be interested in video about the belt oil maintenance that the user manual recommends. PS: our last treadmill lasted 24 years.
Hi, I’m currently looking for a treadmill and want one that will last years! Which one did you have thy lasted 24 years? And did you get a new one? If so, which one? Thank you 😊
This will depend on the frequency of you using the machine and the type of build your body is. If you're running quite often and are taller than most, we would suggest checking out the XT385 for better support and longevity. If this machine is used for walking and light jogging, average height and weight users will enjoy this selection. If you have any questions or want to try these suggestions please, come visit us in-store!
awesome review.....could you guys do a video on the M3 gym thats right next to the FT1 an updated one please . I am very interested to see a demo trying to decide between the two or maybe get both.....thx
Excellent commentary. I've owned and used an FT1 since 2018 and think it's one of the best functional trainers available, especially given its relatively low selling price and almost maintenance-free design. My only criticism of it has been its height, which means that the top pulley position (30) is way too low for taller uses (6 foot and over) who want to perform lat pulldowns and other overhead movements. Just saw a video on the new Inspire Fitness CFT. It looks very much like the FT1, but is taller and beefier and purportedly designed to withstand commercial type use. The CFT also has four extra pulley connection points above the 30 level.
We would call it a nice entry level brand. You won't find the quality of a Life Fitness or Precor product, but it's much better than anything you will find at the big box stores. For more information, contact your local G&G Fitness Equipment store. You can find your local store at livefit.com/pages/store-locator.
