This gives me metroid prime ' fortress sanctuary' vibes, I know the melody is different but that's what it reminds me of, also Sephirot (Ulf Söderberg) Cathedron song from his album, Cathedron
Theres something about Torquemada that drives me towards it I don't know why i really like the place my favorite gun unlocks from clearing it in Undead Nightmare and when doing 100% on the main game i grew to enjoy the knife game in there and the name of the place i think it sounds like nonsense even in spanish it roughly could be said its the words Torque (same word in spanish lmao) and quemada burned like what the fuck is a burned torque
This place and Rauh ruins were really special to me. I don't know what it is but this place seems so mysterious. I'm also interested in just what the coffins were for as well because they are huge.
The strings almost sound like they're singing a dirge, weaving tragedy and faded pains still felt deep within, into the ambience. The subdued main chorus, bells and horns heralding the majesty of a regime long dead. The melodic chorus adding an ethereal feel to it all. I used to like the Elpheal's ambience the most... But this track speaks to me. Easily one of the best tracks of the DLC. Shame the OST doesn't have the in-battle version of this track... It's amazing.
In any game filled with blood, ruin, decay or destruction... A clean looking environment is ALWAYS trouble... Or in terms of the story, climactic as we have our showdown with an old friend.
This ambient track is the perfect build-up to the bossfight that’s to come. Also the feeling I got from this song is that captures the tragic tale behind the King of Puppets (Well I can read the puppet text considering it’s english but using a font that’s hard to read; so I kinda had hints of the story of the King of Puppets, rather than thinking of him as the obvious enemy). I also love this area, especially from the architecture and the level design. Possibly one of the best indoor locations I’ve visited in any souls-like and that includes the souls series.
Man this level was soooo fire, I'm sad that it was so short. Loved the ambient music as well, it was so well delivered, and going back to it after progressing further/learning more about the story just highlighted the duality present in the score.
after doing the lvl 1 all parry for Niall and I come back here, realizing that you are so pro, that you can evade the flag stab then go upfront and parry the next move. subed
