I am a retired missionary/pastor, married with 5 children, who served for over 60 years in pentecostal ministry. My vocation as a missionary gave me many years of joy and fulfilment in the cause of Christ. Sadness and emotional pain are not excluded from that journey. Evangelism and church planting in Papua New Guinea amongst the Abelam people's of the East Sepik province became my passion.
After Papua New Guinea became independent, I returned to Australia with my family and served in a number of Churches in South Australia & Queensland. For ten years I served the Paradise Assembly of God in Adelaide, South Australia & later relocated to Queensland and pastored two significant churches in Brisbane and Toowoomba before retiring from full-time service in 2004.
In my retirement years I have engaged in life long hobbies of photography, film making, gospel recordings and researching my ancestry. This collection of videos are part of my history and are recorded for posterity.
People don't sing enough happy Christian songs these days. The popular ones in modern churches seem very dreary and tuneless! Thank you for sharing this.
In these, the closing days of time What joy the glorious hope affords That soon-O wondrous truth sublime! He shall reign, King of kings and Lord of lords He's coming soon, He's coming soon; With joy we welcome His returning; It may be morn, it may be night or noon- We know our He's coming soon The signs around-in earth and air Or painted on the starlit sky God's faithful witnesses-declare That the coming of the Savior draweth nigh He's coming soon, He's coming soon; With joy we welcome His returning; It may be morn, it may be night or noon- We know our King is coming soon The dead in Christ who 'neath us lie In countless numbers, all shall rise When through the portals of the sky He shall come to prepare our paradise He's coming soon, He's coming soon; With joy we welcome His returning; It may be morn, it may be night or noon- We know our King is coming soon And we, who living, yet remain Caught up, shall meet our faithful Lord; This hope we cherish not in vain But we comfort one another by this word He's coming soon, He's coming soon; With joy we welcome His returning; It may be morn, it may be night or noon- We know our King is coming soon

I remember when I was young my mom and dad would watch Billy Graham, I can remember this beautiful song playing and people walking up to stand in front of Billy Graham, I can remember my mom and dad always crying and getting emotional hearing this song and watching, I believe I ended up crying as well, I miss those days and Billy Graham and so many loved ones gone, time goes by so fast. 🙏😪❤️
I can't ever remember a single time when the Lord has failed. He is the same God yesterday, today and forever. The fairest of ten thousand. His banner over me is love.
My life is a mess, with tobacco and alcohol and other worldly pleasures i have succumbed to the will of Satan. When i listen to these old hymns my life in this world becomes real. I know there is only one way to heaven and i know it's not through religion. After all Jesus hated religion. My life is without meaning, i know the end is nigh, and yet i continue to live a life of sin. Depression has set in and i know its down to Satan that i feel this way, he wants me to end my life so i can become another statistic on a government chart. But when i listen to these old hymns I still believe that there is hope for myself.

This is so beautiful and truly love to Jesus. I wanted to cry for our world as I listened to this video. O dear Lord touch our poor broken world, touch those who search for You in the wrong places. Lord we glorify You and bring those we love and know in such need of Your touch and Your salvation. Heal us Lord. Heal us all. In Jesus Name Amen
