Hi, I'm Jiles McCoy and this channel is dedicated to all of the cool tech, hifi, and gaming gear that I love. We love Home Theater, Gaming, PCs, Mobile, HiFi, Movies, etc!
On the channel you will find several different types of videos: - How to videos showing step by step DIY instructions - Product review videos from leading brands - Trade show coverage typically in the form of shorts. I travel there so you don't miss anything!
I also run a weekly livestream where I feature a relevant brand or personality. You can find this each Tuesday at 7:00PM Mountain for season 4! (Started in February 2024).
Thanks for dropping by the channel and I hope you find something here that is valuable!
That TV is a Year Old. The New Model is Q651 G or F and the other operating systems they might be using this year like Roku. I don't understand why people are so Late to Review a TV especially when the New Model is out. The New Model is Significantly Brighter, it is Better in Every way with a New Microprocessor.
@@JilesMcCoy If you still have this TV you should try to get the 85 inch Version of the 2024 Model. It is Q651G the Google Version. This one is Now on sale for $1000.00. The listed price is $1600.00 but it has been sold since it came out for $1200.00. If it is as good as I hear it is it's an Incredible Value and a Outstanding TV. It has a 120 hz upgraded VA panel which provides Great Contrast and Deep Blacks. This Version of the TV and the 98 inch they Both have this 120 hz VA panel. The others, have a 60 hz IPS panel although I have heard some models have a 60 hz VA panel. It gets confusing...
hi great test. I bought this one today but my little satelites dont match verry well (monitor audio Mass audio) what can you advice for satelites with this subwoofer
Not really. I’ll provide another update when the next set of data comes back. We’ve recently seen the pull back from physical media in major brick and mortar retailers. The collectors market obviously will stick around, but mass market adoption continues to wane unfortunately. I’ve not heard any good news. What good news have you heard?
There is a noise in the kef kube MIE seires that can be heard when listening quietly, but according to the manufacturer it is in the specifications. Very disappointed...
They’re going to get left behind if they don’t reduce their price on storage not even gonna be able to support that price in the future someone else will come and replace them easy maybe Apple
The file sizes are usually a bit bigger on the K-Scape side but for me they visual and audio quality is identical. I am 100% in for Kaleidescape for movies for all the other features though.
I’ve been collecting tong for about a year, and as a collector, we’ve got to stay positive about physical media staying alive and being around for a long time, and this attitude certainly does not help. There are many vitiate labels working very hard on 4ks and keeping 4ks alive.
Hey Jiles, I know you had the Silver Ticket screen before. Honestly, how does the Seymour compare with it, minus the masking system, just screen quality and image. I may be looking to upgrade mine, however with the manual masking. Appreciate your response, Thanks!
We just purchased this refrigerator but in stainless steel. We love this refrigerator, especially the middle drawer. Looks so classy in our kitchen. ❤❤❤
What's the story on JL Audio home theater Subwoofers? I know they was the best for car audio years ago and i heard they are Expensive for Home Theater models. When I'm ready to spend $900 I'm looking only at the SVS SB2000. But if i get a new house on 1 Acre or 10-20 Acres custom built, I'm getting SVS 16" subwoofer. Maybe even Stereo Integrity 24" sealed box if Big theater room. Place in the back corner.
OSD Trevoce 15s (3 Woofers in sealed box) was a super deal when $499 few months ago, now it's $699. Best deal now is the OSD FS12, dual ported 12" hits 18 hz and meets CEDIA level 4 requirements hitting the frequency and decibels. 600 Watts RMS and is $299 on Sale now.
I'm planning to go Las Vegas for CES 2025. Last time i went like 26 years ago there was a very nice Home Theater display, saw Krell amps and Sunfire $10,000 Subwoofer. I will try to Organize an event for all of us RU-vid Home Theater guys.
I really dislike modern D&D. Instead of the telling of new Tolkein stories, with Halflings and Humans, Dwarves and Elves, you are more accurately re-enacting a furry convention. Demon-blood PCs instead of demons being monsters to kill. Cat-people in armor and half-dragons who breathe fire as a first level character; and more powers and abilities at start then Superman. Paladinhood available to all races and alignments, instead of making a class unique to only the purest of humans; instead of Lancelot and Galahad, you are re-enacting...well, nothing, really. And character deaths so rare the DM must really hate the player to make it happen. And don't get me started on the disgusting wokeness of WotC.
The game is really what you make it. If you are playing with a group that doesn’t match your taste you should just find another group. The system doesn’t force you to do anything. And if you really don’t like a core mechanic you can always play 1e,2e,3e,4e,OG dnd, pathfinder, gurps, palladium, etc etc etc.
@@JilesMcCoy Well, yes, I agree with everything you said. I was merely expressing my opinion on 5th edition. It does impact me as 5th edition being the current thing, it makes it more difficult to find groups that match my taste.
I believe the old one was a Westinghouse, I would never switch a Westinghouse for some random Chinese one. There are kits on AliExpress that convert the remote controlled fan to smart Wi-Fi with Alexa and Google Assistant support, but the new one looks way better!
In 2001 I bought a sansui Dolby surround home theater package of amp 150 w 50 hz, two left right with 8 ohm 15-watt full-range and 10watt 8 ohm tweeter which made the left right 25 watt each, center 8 ohm 15-watt one full-range only, two rear speakers 16 ohm 10 watt full-range and a subwoofer 6 ohm 30 watt. I live in Delhi India in quit noisy environment even thought the system was way too loud that the volume hardly went a above 40 percent while normal listening 70 percent some gather or birthday parties.
@@JilesMcCoy had a brief listen. As an all-in-one around that price point it is OKisch, but moste A/B amps will sound much sweeter. Of course, if you fancy class D anyway, it's not bad.
Looking at the balance, importance and interaction of the three factors streaming is the winner by a large margin, because quality is the least important factor of the three for most people. Good video, all the best from Belgium.
@@JilesMcCoy Just listened to the Prime Towers. (RC Willey) No Bass, like I figured. Mid's and highs were good. Quality is crap, made in china like I said. Cheap grill cloth with push in plugs to hold them. Cheap Cabinets. I'll pass. they are now $1200 a pr. Can get much better for that price. And YES, there is a lot wrong with stuff made in China. It's all low quality and it's designed to fail.
Couldn't finish watching your video. Music was too annoying. I don't know why people add music. U can't cater to all. A basic beat would play to all. Not a slide whistle on red bull. My opinion. If I mute, I can't hear what your saying. I lasted 23 mins. Good enough 😂
He had a trim .... a year ago maybe. He is focused on growing it out long. We don't know exactly where it ends... but it has to be near the end of the road for length. Its curlier than we all expected!
All good..But why didn't the Eversolo think of making s brushed silver model not everyone has black components.. Eversolo Think outside the box Pleeezzz😮
I got the RZ50 a few months ago and love it. I just got the Klipsch RP-504C but its not listed in the Klipsch list for speaker selection. That list really needs to be expanded and should at least have every RP speaker in the last 2 generations. I selected the RP-504C II instead but I'm not sure if I should actually just select other? Anyone know?
Hi Late to this review, but quick question => I want to play Apple music lossless. How can I do that with this device? Can it be with BT or need a direct connection?
