Thanks for providing the coverage. Was really entertaining seeing the scout vs engie strats. Hopefully we get another tourney in the future. I think I might try to join in the next one 🙂

Loved the commentary, as you guys did a great job of explaining all the aspects that I was puzzled about, and it was cool having the rules come out bit by bit as the play illustrated things. 1:22:45 that was bait yeah, I remembered from some games in my time that hitting those plants directly with a weapon that does kinetic and area damage will make the kinetic launch the explosive, only for the area damage to immediate explode it, I messed it up unfortunately.
51:25 Believe it or not, it wasn't actually a stalker kill outright but it had a hand in it. I was tryna land from a jump with the platform and just barely missed the edge, I would've still survived anyway with a tiny amount of health but the stalker actually hit me right before the jump to begin with.
@@AutumnReel4444 this preset we used had a lot of what we wanted like a substantial amount of stationeries. The difficulty also doesn’t have increased speed from has 5, it’s just the base speed to accommodate more interactions instead of just trying to survive. Vanilla PE pressure waves are also very low variance where this can be adjusted with mods. In some ways, 5max would be way too oppressive for what we wanted as well.regular haz 5 scaling and damage and movement let’s the event be more approachable to more players. I hope this helps.
For the specific helmet, if your talking about the lost pack helmet, it’s also referred to as the Corporate Marine helmet which is able to be purchased from the shop.
Kicking myself for not realizing the scattered gear = helmet+pack 🤦♂️ I've missed more than I'd care to admit. I use display events mod now, so I can wrap up clean after primary objective is complete.
@@owgrant7590 I haven't played in a bit with it enabled, but I was able to get it to somewhat function by force enabling it. It would still display what events were spawned for that run. I don't think it would register if you'd collected/done the events tho.
Personally I find dash to be very handy in a lot of situations. Not so much for the scout with the grapple, but a lot of slowdown effects can kill you if you don't have a way out - and the dash provides that. Iron Will I'd say is only worth it if you're also running vampire, as it then effectively becomes a self-revive - otherwise it's better to take field medic to revive someone else for free. Iron Will is superior in the former case since it also saves your team the bother of having to run over there, whereas field medic won't help you when you're separated.
Dash is the best perk in the game. It makes you very skippery and allows you to quickly reposition yourself. Allowing you to move from a weak position to a stronger one. It’s also useful for closing the distance with enemies that are easier to kill up close.
I know it's been a while since the release of this video, but I once got a lot of minerals when I spawned. Around the same you get from the lost miners side quest.
I felt that. Went through an awfully similar ordeal with a gunner where I got to the end of the cave system without meeting the Morkite quota. If not for Bosco, there would have been nothing to brighten up my day because - pretty much - all the damn stuff was growing on stalactites, making it NIGH invisible. Neverending rivers of Swarmers with me desperately trying to find where to use the damned zipline. I nearly ran out... of AUTOCANNON ammo (geez!) .
IMO, farming anything specific is kinda pointless since you get everything from the game in good amounts Do the weekly, core hunt, deep dives, promo assigment etc If they are all done look for 2x XP missions The only resource i seem to run thin is Bismor, bht only because i buy every overclock and accessory i get from blank cores
We have done this many times over the years and only a couple times have we done salvage. Typically I only play it with people that want a more extreme challenge but it is possible. Elite warning transforms some of the bulks to elite bulks and one of the most difficult missions I've ever finished was Elite salvage "oops all bulks". The real pain starts in Oops All Nemesis
