I try to play fair and record only PUBLIC DOMAIN texts or texts that are old and obscure and out-of-print. If I record a story it's because I like it and want to bring it to other people's attention. If you're someone's literary estate contact me and I'll take the video down.

I love the ones where I'm forced to say, 'what the----' several times in the telling, and then once more, with feeling, at the very end. I have no idea what just happened; still enjoyed it immensely.
Sorry, I don't understand. But this is quite an old video of mine, recorded before I learnt to slow down my narration and leave longer gaps between sentences.
@@gosianutjob9578 Oh, I've just remembered something else. I used a pitch correction on my voice for the woman narrator who opens the story which then goes to my usual voice when the male recounts his story. That might account for why you think it's sped up.
You did a great job telling this story! I have always loved it ever since I first read it in a book of shory ghost stories years ago. One of my favorites. Thank you!
Narrated perfectly as always but preferred frights are ghosties, ghoulies and long legged beasties, and things that go bump in the night...not human psychosis and degradation. I prefer Dracula to Schindlers List. A fine tale, just not to my personal taste.
His face was 'so heavily daubed with cream and powder he looked like a s*x pervert'. Took me a minute or two to decipher what he meant...🧐 The ending gave me shivers. Thank you for another masterfully told tale Jasper. Hope your hols are going well (chink chink) ❤
