You should be able to free look and fly in the first place! Sucks you have to install a mod for that

Any tips for people who are trying to make the transition from test server to live server? Because live server definitely places you in scenarios that are hard to replicate on the test server…. And people on the game nowadays seem pretty unforgiving for learning pilots

For anyone having problems with having to hold the right mouse button, to fix it: On the script look at... on line 10: "if (enabled and hotkey):" change it to --> "if (enabled):" on line 19: Remove all of line 19 This will remove having to use the right mouse button altogether Worked with: TrackIR 5 on Windows 11

Haven't played Squad in ages, and ended up BSing around on a really cool server that no longer exists. Met a dude who 'taught' me some flying after he picked up my fireteam blasting Fortunate Son lmfaoo. I actually didn't do terrible (can't J-hook but can get her to A and B with minimal ouch) and had a great time! Redownloading Squad so I can get back into it and practice and hopefully someday master piloting. Gonna put some hours down in training mode with your vids as a guide. Thanks for the vids #subscrizzled

Would be more interesting with bigger slower helicopter, smaller ones are easier to use, so a guide is less needed for these.

Flying above road is a good way to expose yourself to vehicles. Not a fan of it, also I think flying very high is underrated for safety and discretion.

We are July 2023.. Trackir is not yet enable by naturalpoint???.. We must do all this???... I come from DCS world and I would love enjoy flying chopper in squad with my trackir and rhino x-56.. + rudder pedals... Could you think all those realistic setting is enabled on squad??... Something that has gotten me absolutely livid in squad is their decision to disable the keyboard controls for pitch and yaw when using freelock... WHY. I just tested and you can force it always on and keyboard controls work. >:|

Squad need armed copters with flares as well. Id love to see warthunder like rocket barrages on vehicles

**Good video, but couldn't get it to work with Windows 11.** **EDIT: It works with Windows 11, I'm just dumb. Make sure to always start as Administrator and to actually RUN the script. If you're getting it to work but don't have full RoM, increase the multiplier in the script from 30 to 100.

I fly rc helicopter s and rc planes. Do dcs as well. It's all about feel. Some ppl get it some ppl don't.

I love this video mate! I don’t have a PC (yet) but play aircraft sims on my iPad, but have always wondered how to fly helo’s better and more realistic. This video helped and has me wanting to get a PC asap to play Squad as a pilot as well as other positions. Thanks for the amazing video my guy!
