Ok hear me out,if a blacksmith made this using traditional forging techniques and permanently affixed it to a display stand, then it’s not a knife it’s a pice of art.

I have been in the security industry for 22 years and have come across people who I doubt have even gone through the learning process and courses legitimately. I recently had my up-skilling course with some who were booked in didn't attend, with the trainer removing 4 off the course who couldn't even complete the first day tasks.
Very informative video, and it is great you have a serving officer going through the details of this. As a former police officer myself I think handcuffs do have their place in the security industry. However it is super important that security officers do undertake the relevant training, and keep their skills refreshed in this aspect, as it is unlikely as a SG/DS you are going to be using them on a daily basis. In the police you have a week officer safety training course, then every year a 1 or 2 day refresher depending so go through handcuffing in detail. You also have to understand the differences and powers. Using handcuffs and detaining someone is a big decision to make, and you need to be mindful of 1. You are completely responsible for the person you have detained, their welfare and their safety, for explain if you use handcuffs and they start bending their hands cutting their wrists on the cuffs you are responsible for this. 2. You have to be 100% on your powers, as you could be liable to false imprisonment, assault or even to an extreme standard kidnap. 3.Ultimate it is all going to depending on the situation and your own judgement, training and skill set. Regardless of using handcuffs everything you do needs to be proportionate, necessary and legal in the circumstances.
Thank you, we really appreciate this. Regarding you're other points, we 100% agree. Handcuffs should only be used as a last resort if they are 100% necessary.
When I did my course with you I found the mock exams really useful, and like in this video it is good to go back and keep checking your knowledge. I also really liked the Skills Badges you can do, you should do a video on that!
Anyone thinking that after a 6 hour course they will be 'qualified' is not playing with a full deck. Qualification requires constant practise, and the Emergency First Aid at Work will have thousands all thinking their qualified to do CPR. The fact that a piece of paper stamped with Ofqual, will only provide a false sense of ability, is too scary to me in that it will fool the uneducated into thinking they can manage an emergency first aid situation, when I fear many will crumble when it actually happens for real.
Hi Sir I passed healthy and safety environment which was 47/50 , but I want to know where can I get the level 1 healthy and safety awareness which is 25/30 questions , I registered the course which is £99 and I booked my exam next Wednesday but I want to know where can I get the mock questions? Any one please thanks
