I used to be really into Model Rocketry back when I had the time. Boy do I miss it! So far as this video goes: Oh have I ever been there and done that! 😆 Those failed launches of mine made for some great stories and memories, though! 👍
@@RC_stuff I have been trying to find this out for a while. I can't stand how it tilts when you brake. Very annoying when you want to capture all the details. Now I know which one to avoid. Thanks for the information.

A friend and I had one of those Estes "Shuttle Orbiters". To balance the forces off the pad, the Orbiter's vertical stabilizer had a cardboard triangle, like a speed brake, to create drag. My friend thought "what a stupid idea. If we take it off the vehicle should go higher". No It made it off the pad before the Orbiter's motors, without the benefit of a balancing drag device, did an immediate 180 and powered into the ground. 5 seconds later the Shuttle's nose cone popped off with the standard Estes ejection charge. We laughed and laughed ..
