Putting aside the already obvious skills and training that went into this piece and those hands, it is astonishing to me that you managed to transcribe the synthetic intruments' sounds and beats into the grace of the piano. You've done what my brain thirsted for but could not achieve, and now you've given it for us all to experience. Thanks and Bravo 👏
I cant imagine how long id have to learn piano to actually play madragora this well. Man this is the best replay that will be there for atleast a decade!
amazing job man!! the fast parts are so hard to do consistently and you pulled off the whole song at 160bpm+, respect. i'm a few months into learning this myself btw, could you please share which parts of the song you tweaked? i could identify a few add-ons which make it sound better but i probably didn't notice everything
Thanks a lot man! Nice to see you back to learning this. Here are the parts I tweaked : 0:23 Changed the running down notes to sound more like the original [C-Eb-Db-C-Bb-Ab-Eb-C] (easier to play also) while in the score it's [C-Eb-Bb-Ab-Eb-C-Ab-Eb] 0:28 the 3 extra notes on RH after the high F (the little quick C-Bb-Ab) that weren't put in the score but can be heard in the original 0:41 Fill-in 1:20 and 1:26 In the original, they sound like F minor chord on a bunch of strings, so I did it on piano too on LH 1:28 The fast notes on RH from the score were physically impossible to play, so I chose to hit only the top notes and change the other notes under 1:31 The bass from the original on LH 1:33 RH notes are octaved 1:40 same as the last timestamp but only for a few notes (and with the help of LH) I'm quite proud of these tweaks so I'm glad you asked
@@Mach1m. omg thanks for the detailed reply!! yes you should be proud of them, they're mostly subtle but do actually improve the original transcription a lot. is there anywhere i can contact you directly? there's a lot to say about this song honestly lol
amazing. i tried learning this piece for a couple months, got pretty decent at the easier parts but i eventually gave up. you may have just inspired me to pick it up again.
I practiced playing it focusing on clarity and repeated it many times until my hands automatically figured out the most efficient ways to play it, the more they're used to the piece, the faster they can get. Then I used a metronome to practice keeping my tempo consistent.
Holy… this is perfect. I’ve been playing this song every now and then for the last years, but this is PERFECT. I just can’t believe you’re executing every part so accurately, with the correct tempo and from memory. Insane man, congratulations. This is awesome
NO WAY YOU ACTUALLY DID IT this is so impressive, and it was played pretty much perfectly. congrats, as far as i'm aware you're the first one to learn it :)
I learned this song a few years ago on piano and got all the way through but I could never play it smoothly and have since forgotten most of it. The fact that this is still a work in progress is insane! I'm still yet to see a good full cover of the song on RU-vid and I think you could be the first if you keep it up. Amazing stuff, I hope you continue :)
