Please can you help with understanding how to troubleshoot a call issue I'm having. I want to be able to use a headset that's plugged into the computer and use the mic on the headset for the call. Although the only mic that is being used is the mic on the phone which defeats the whole purpose of taking calls on the PC.
I’m considering adding a family member to my Family Share account on my Xbox console who was banned from the Microsoft Rewards Program, but I need to know if adding them to my Family Share account would negatively impact my Microsoft Rewards account.
The most unwanted feature ever! All the promises of "only stored localy" and "Optional feature" and "Absolutely safe through 2FA" does not help either. Recalling, what Edward Snowden said ("If you can activate it, so they can...!") and all the experiences, where Microsoft is stopping the user to manage their own PC and any Updates, and force the User their own way (let alone how difficult it became to setup a Windows machine with out a Microsoft Account and only using local accounts says all) Microsoft has lost my trust completely. Too many times in my Life I experienced the situation, that something was absolutely optional and volunteerly, then a few years later, it became mandatory or the only way to do something. They give a sh#t on what the user wants and go their own way and since personal data is the IT-Goldmine nowadays, I give no credit to all the promises and empty words. Thank you, but no thank you!!!
Can Windows 10 run on the surface laptop studio 2? It's by far my favourite OS by the time, I'd like to run it on the surface laptop studio 2 when i'll buy it!
Soooo looking back how does this stack up against the Samsung Book4 360 ? it seems to have much of the newer models versatility, I'm asking as I want to buy a small Samsung (used) and feel I'm getting nearer to buying one of these small little units.....replacing my Sony Duo 13, its getting a bit long in the tooth now !

@@MicrosoftExpertZoneUKI Last time I checked, Microsoft doesn't give away anything (to its customers) for free. If I'm not paying for something Microsoft product or service using currency, I'm paying for it some other way. "If the service is free then YOU are the product."
With information stored locally and locked behind 2FA, no data will be stored on a database 😄 And, if it's still not for you - you can just turn off that feature!

My worry is that Windows might start doing this without permission at some point. Perhaps turning the feature on will actually just make that database of information viewable by the individual user themselves. I'm guessing any computer being used by a member of the public in any authoritarian regime (including a Trump-led USA) will be doing something like this, and uploading the data directly to the security police, now that the capability is out there.
@@rumi9005 Oh, there will be "permission". It will be something like, "By using Microsoft Windows, or any Microsoft product, you automatically agree to X, Y, and Z. If you prefer to not be a part of X, Y, and Z, you must cease using Microsoft products immediately." It will be buried deep in some terms of service that you will never read.
I guess no one considers there are some people who are complete beginners, because she flys through everything so fast, moving the cursor around where you can’t keep up if you’re a beginner like I am. Every Clipchamp tutorial on RU-vid, regardless of who makes it, rushes through everything, and complete beginners get lost pretty fast, with fast talking, especially seeing them doodling with the cursor between sentences. I know I’m older, but I’d still like to learn how to use Clipchamp, but I just can’t Find a tutorial for true beginners. There probably aren’t many older, 35 WPM typing beginners out there, I get it, so why go through the expense of making a tutorial for just a few. I do have a good pc, with office 365, and try to keep everything updated. I guess I’m lucky I can even turn my laptop on and know how to check email and browser searches. lol, may be a case where I’ve outlived my usefulness, lol. Not upset, just venting I guess.
Very Cool that this is finally implemented again 1:04 (bluetooth) keyboard. The clear usecase is: If you are sketching something (like an artist) you want the have the pro in studio mode but sometimes still need the shortcuts on your keyboard. I used to work for microsoft as an ambassador in the stores. I remember this was also a thing during the surface RT and surface 2 times.
This is a feature that we love too - like you say, keyboard shortcuts can be very useful when drawing with the Pro in Studio Mode! 41 hours of battery life too 😍
Unfortunately we don't have an exact date yet, it is currently being tested via the Windows Insider Programme and once this is complete it will become more widely available through a post-launch Windows Update 😄 You can keep an eye out here for more information: aka.ms/copilotpluspcs
Sorry, Microsoft. But I can't trust you guys' word on anything. Your company, among others like Google and Facebook (Meta) has been famous for mass data collection and invasive service integration into the Windows operating system and all of your services like OneDrive. I'm not a big fan of an operating system that I paid a license for collecting data on everything that I do and sending it back to you guys to be sold and given away to advertisers and the US government

That all depends on the device that you have! Typically it's the same as uninstalling any app from the app store, however some devices may not allow this.
Thank you for your question - the Surface Laptop doesn't have a 360 degree hinge no. It has the classic clamshell design, whereas the Surface Pro has the detachable typecover and the Surface Laptop Studio has the screen which can sit almost flat.
