The police office is a dangerous idiot. The police boat is more threatening than helpful. Inexcusable that the police doesn't have any sort of a ladder available, yet expects to pick people up. Not helpful
My slip neighbor in San Diego did essentially the same thing last year. New owner, clueless, hisboat was on the rocks in Mexico total loss so other boat owners get to pay for it through their insurance. Big bank accounts, minimal experience, and know enough to be dangerous.
Shame the cops wasn't there to give tickets for all those kids not having life jackets and sitting up front like that.Thats child endangerment cops need to watch for that.
The boats won everytime hell who cares if there upfront with no life vest on your right to an extent they definitely should but at the end of the day who really gives a damn ehh
Bad skipper. First thing you’d do after losing power is (assuming it’s not too deep) anchor so that the boat isn’t rolling crazily and you can look at the filters without getting seasick and so that you are not drifting onto a lee shore while you faff around! Securing the boat is not something to leave till the last minute.
BS Brono. Just because the Robalo turned around doesn't mean they turned aroud because of the conditions. Maybe they LIKED the conditions and wanted to have some fun blasting through the waves a little. Silly rule.
The Axopars are so interesting. This might be a stupid question but.... if it's a European boat maker, how do they get so many state-side? I see a lot on this channel. Is there a domestic builder of the brand like a franchise or do they build them in Poland like I saw on the website and ship them? I can't imagine what that looks like... shipping ships. So in summary, do they ship shit-tons of ships by sea to our seashores? Love this channel!
How did the raft deploy accidentally? My guess is someone was "checking it out" either as pre-cruise crew checks or curious guest, and moved the quick release catch enough to cause it to jar loose.
It's always fun to see how hard people will work to lose to Haulover when the inlet isn't even trying. Not for nothin' but the H took it in a sweep; because the Axopar took the tip of a wave over the nose.
It's amazing how many people don't take haulover cut seriously. I've made the cut dozens of times and on maybe two occasions it WASNT completely hair-raising. Rough water isn't unusual, unpredictable, unreadable rough water is haulover's normal state. It's a wonder there aren't more rescues and swamping than there are
