That part in the end, even if you can teach yourself online, unless you're applying for a job that is portfolio-heavy, you WILL be overlooked if other applicants have a degree and you don't.
I know California is expensive, I was born and raised in Newport in OC but since have lived in a lot of different states, now currently in Oregon. I can truly say I value quality of life the most with that being said California is worth it to me. When I can afford it again lol
Only losers leave California. Why do you people think that you should get special privileges. I had to move out of California and I'm not bitching about it. But I plan on moving back!
This video is for typical 20-somethings with no down payment for a house and certainly not enough to buy without a mortgage. TONS of people from other states have enough equity that they could EASILY afford to move to CA and buy with no loan.
This is so unscientific. You’re cherry picking the most expensive cities. Then you’re using the average rent as if everyone will pay that average. Then you’re using the word “everyone” all the time. Then you’re comparing CA rent in the three big CA cities to the average US rent that of course includes TONS of cheap housing in podunk areas or slums where almost nobody watching this video would ever live.
the reason why people are leaving is bc of all of the gentrifiers that have been moving here for the past DECADES with the attempt to become actors, youtubers, influencers, etc. so many people from out of state come live here driving out all the natives that have been here their whole lives and no nothing outside of CA. It's sad and then people in other states wonder why ppl from CA migrating to your state. like ???? Sir it's bc your niece that moved over to LA and all the MILLIONS of ppl from butt fck no where moving to CA drove them out of their own homes as a result of the COL being so high. Do you really think we want to live in butt fck no where????? You think we want to be in kansas ?? or west virginia??? Hell no. Currently stationed in San Diego but from Houston,TX. it’s beautifull out here really but I catch myself budgeting everything everyday to at least save something before I get out of the navy and return back home to Texas.
I have 3 degrees, one advanced, it served me well at the time, I made a good living in IT. Now I am retired and want to be a videographer and editor, I tripped into this as a canvas artist who needed an IG reel, and boom.....down the rabbit hole I went!. I love it, and look forward to learning Premier. This is going to be a fun to learn and make a little money as a side gig! Creative jobs were rare, back in the day, I'm thrilled to learn and do it now!
You are right, university gives you a paper that you learned outdated shits for years. I was feeling the same, so instead sitting there with those morons and pick up the student dept, I went to freelancing then built up my companies. Couple of those early startups are failed ... but some of them made it. Specially If you dont want to be a 8:00-16:00 slave who spending in the traffic another 1-2 hours to reach the office, this is the way, I am totally agree with you after 17 years of experience in remote working digital marketing field. Good video , seriously more of the 20th's need to see like this.
Seems to be biased for Sony. Doesn't give all the info. Cropped 4k on Sony, which is awful.... the Sony is only touch screen for focus but nothing else. The 960 fps looks like absolute garbage. Notice he doesn't actually tell you the resolution that it films in 960fps? Hey what about the fact that canon has way better IS?
@gsus garcia ok straight up, neither. I just sold my g7x miii for peanuts as the autofocus is unusable. You can't trust it ever. Also 4k overheats in 10 mins. I couldnt use 4k as the camera needed 15 mins to cool down ( show over by then) If I were you, I would you hunt down a used 90d. 4k is not ready for small form factor tet.
Yes we don't need a degree but all of these jobs need 3+ years of experience. This job search has been so rough and I feel like I wasted my Psychology degree for the most low paying jobs :(
