You have a beautiful collection, Manda. I felt exactly the same way with Lamy 2000 because I felt it was boring too. I now have a Lamy 2000 in Fine and Oblique broad (my favorite) and want to buy a Medium too. The Faber Castel was a new pen I had never heard of and looks beautiful. What size is your Sailor Pro Gear? I have it in Large and feel it is a little bulky in the middle. I love your twsbi collection esp the Rose Gold 😍 I do not have Homo Sapiens, I like the Bronze Age. I hear people talking about the inconsistency in their nib. What was your experience?

Sadly🤷🏻♀️ I picked up 3 of the inks from Matthew's first release earlier this year but for his second release with Western Trillium & Blackberry, I had just undergone surgery and by the time I felt well enough to do anything and went to the site, they were long gone. So bummed but I signed up for his restock (like we need another purple 😂). My Elliot Bay looks more like Casey's.
I am also in a 'dont spend the money' moment, until I get to the pen show.🤣🤣 I really want to try to get some of the pen show exclusive inks, that is my mission - although who knows if my social anxiety will stop me from achieving this, haaa!!! Can't wait to hang out again soon :) Also, I wanna hear your opinions 💜
It's an ink brand I no longer buy from a shop I no longer buy from. 😅 Endless. Matthew did lots of swatches of his inks on lots of different papers and it's worth checking out because the colors vary a lot based on the paper. MANDA'S THE BEST 🎉 PASS IT ON 🎉🎉
I loved this!! So happy for you that you get to see new-to-you inks in your IF!!! I actually think I like all of these-and I DO need an olive ink, actually! But the dryness concerns me. And, that notebook’s rulings look super-interesting. 🤩 I’m even interested in the washi!
I got inkflight cos of you 😂 I actually liked Freedom Park Rose the best out of all the samples. I just ordered a bottle from endless pens. It shades nicely.
There is an ingredient in the LAMY 2016 they no longer make so they had to add a different ingredient so it’s quite different. Much more sheen in the new one. Also LAMY was being sold to a Japanese company when the 2024 was being launched so it was not a priority for them.
You could buy the Studio inks collection and be done. (Unless you really want sone shimmer inks) I was also thinking Irori for the 730, just before you said it!
Of corse the loki comes with laplace resonance 😂 I got that set in a mystery bundle from atlas. In a heavy swatch it is beautiful but I don’t own a BB Pelikan to make it usable in a pen 😂
These inks are great! Sadly, noone in my country does samples of this brand so I'd have to buy whole bottles. Unless... fountain forums do sample shares?
People love doing ink swaps and such! If you're in any pen discords or forums or reddits or anything, I'm sure it would take no time at all to organize a swap with someone! :D
It is not - I just looked at it again yesterday because my pen was dry, and the converter fell out. LOL I snapped it back in again, and it just has a very defined *click* to secure it! After I did that, it seemed to be seated properly :D
Never had the opportunity to get either of the 2 Visconti Homo Sapiens I wanted which were Midnight In Florence OR London Fog. The Iris Garden is so beautiful and Irises are my favorite flower but yeah, I just can't do a thousand bucks so I'll admire from afar. 😂
