We have this model in our house. Today the alarm went off. The valve is open and functioning properly but the alarm will not turn off. Ehat would you suggest that I do?
I have the original mainline back water valve in my home and it’s saved us from flooding numerous times in the last 10 years, saved us once again 2 weeks ago after 7” of rain fell in 4 hours here. I actually have a few videos on my channel of how i installed it. I clean it every 6 months to keep it from sticking to the bottom. Great product.
Mine did just fine in a massive summer storm we had in Southern Ontario 6 weeks ago. Lots of houses flooded, mine held fine. Do you speak from experience or should we just take your "trust me bro I know" argument?
We are considering using these in all our new homes, they should would excellent under normal conditions. My question is what happens if there's been two or three sewer backups from the street filling this entire chamber with sewage, will these floats not be caked with ugliness? Will they continue to float up, or could they be stuck to the base of the chamber, not forcing the valve to close? Please advise.
we have two wire leads and magnetic door sensors, these two wire leads can be hooked up to you4 house monitoring alarm, no different than a door hooking up to it
@@Ml3xa My new back water valve continues to make beeping noise as if the backwater valve has water in it. Any way to fix this? Just FYI- this is your new back water valve flood alarm.
