I prefer taking shadow flask more of a fighter ling. You get shadow bar full and a slashing strike too. With wisely using flask you gain full shadow many times in one round which gives you upper hand.

Some more tips , ling basic is fast enough to inrreupt kibos attack when onslaught is active. And also midnight basic and other attacks. If someone is getting annoyed by midnight n kibo keep ling in your team..ling can pretty finish heroes line lynx , clad except yukka with shades revenge and midnight with adaptation 😢😢. But anyways he is decent meta to keep in team.
