Also a Yamaha LS6 M acoustic guitar. And a Harley Benton T-69 Roasted Hot Rod Slimline. @@alessandrosparta7280 Hi Alessandro, yes I replaced the nut. It is a Graph Tech Black TUSQ XL Nut. I got it at Stew Mac but I don’t remember the size. Its been a couple of years. I got a cheap digital caliper and measured the factory nut and did a straight swap out. Use animal hide glue. Be sure to clean out the slot so it seats well because some sound transfer occurs at the nut. This nuts holds tune really well because it’s designed to not bind the string in the string slot.. good luck!
@@alessandrosparta7280 I used the end of a ruler against the nut and tapped the end of the ruler with a hammer and the nut just popped off and flew across the room. I didn’t mess with the string slots i just hide glued it into place. The one I ordered was the correct dimensions so I put glue in the nut slot, stuck it in the neck and put a clamp on it overnight to make it seat good and tight.. then just restring. I also put a graph tech bridge into the bridge. The factory used a kind of soft plastic I didn’t like the sound of. Both are reasonably priced. You should order from Stew Mac. You can call them and speak to a factory luthier if you need an expert. Good luck. I hope it turns out well. If the nut or bridge is too tall use sand paper laying on a table and take some of the height away.

yes. it starts on Em7. then A. then D, then D7 then G, then climb down the E string to the E chord. play along with the changes on the video guitar. those are all the chords for the entire song. enjoy, it’s easy!

can you do a review of the guitar plz. are the fret width n strings close etc. whats the electrics like? i have a yamaha apxt2 n im finding the string spacing a problem too small etc.
There is another video here with a full sized fender F-265C and i think it feels very much similar. The neck seems to be full sized with a small body. There is a piezo stick pickup under the bridge saddle. The preamp in the top edge has three channel eq. I didnt like the nut and the bridge saddle, i replaced them with Tusq in the first week. It sounds better plugged in than pure acoustic because the pick up brings out the lows. Mine came with a hard case courtesy of the factory. I would give it a score of 88 out of 100. Thank you Leo! You should know that i replaced the nut and the bridge saddle with Tusq fake bone, as soon as i got it. The Tusq parts brought out the highs and harmonics better. It is a good guitar however

To get the nut off take piece of wood, like a ruler. Place the skinny end against nut and let the neck support the rest of it. Then strongly whack the other end of the ruler with a hammer or mallet. The nut is glued on with hide glue which is very brittle. The nut will fly across the room! Then be sure to scrape out all the old glue. You can use super glue gell to reattach, or hide glue. A couple of strings will hold the nut in place overnight. I love Salt Lake City, and Provo, and Saint George! What a great state! Im in California, the state of confusion! 🙄
Hi Mark. It has a good sound. I made it better by replacing the nut and the bridge saddle with Tusq. Im using Earthwood light strings. I find plugging in improves the sound because it brings out the low frequencies. Overall its a nice guitar, small body, and it travels well. Oh and it comes with a hard shell case. I found the tone similar to Ian Anderson’s parlor guitar.
Yes, be glad to. I play almost everything in open D. The notes, from top string to bottom string are, DADF#AD. I am old and i use an electronic tuner to get it perfect. Thanks for inquiring!
