Two things which weren't mentioned sometimes on rotors there are 10 mm bolt holes there there to help to get a stuck rotor off another a block of wood can be used against the rotor while striking it with a 6 lb hammer
I have a 2013 grand caravan only 57000 miles. There is a weird ratcheting noise coming from under the dash and to this lay person, seems electrical in nature?? The fob door controls quit working, and the inside controls work. I changed fob batteries. Any ideas?
My biggest issue was having to replace struts and some fron end parts at 330k. cost like 500 in parts and 500 in labor. But 1 grand for great ride was worth it. No car payment and have not spent any money on it in 2 yrs but oil and tires so for 21 yr old car 1 grand was not bad, now rides smooth no squeaks. Those were original struts LOL
Spent in last 3 yrs about the same as my friends accord car payment for 3 months so why am I complaining LOL I have v6 he has 4 I have more room and ride as good loaded v6 xle sunroof dual power seats high end JBl system leather cruise electronic ac heat that works as it did new never touched the system, rides as good as accord and I have leather he has cloth, he hates my camry. Best damn car I ever owned lasts forever cheap to maintain rides 95% as good as brand new one almost as quick as new v6 but I owe nothing and have more room. I spend less a yr than any new car to maintain. service is cheaper as car is more accessible parts cheaper and never fail. 21 yrs every motor window lever switch and light works as new even trim is 100% intact. Show me any other 21 yr 350k mile car that can do it but toyota and lexus. Even honda cannot do it, close but not the same quality of older toyotas, not so sure about new ones worked at dealer and drove newer ones less room to expensive and until I see many hit 300k miles I reserve opinion on reliability
EVAP do not fill to top, when pump stops do not rund up to next dollar it soaks canister and cause error. if it happens run a few gallons out reset it goes away but over fill it will come on again. mine did it and I finally found out why. when pump stops STOP pumping and issue is gone
Great video! One thing that I did differently was to use my straight jaw needle nose in line with the bullet with a jaw on top of it and the other underneath its housing to easily free the E brake cable from the shoe...I really appreciated the tip on popping same cable loose from the junction and pushing it through to gain slack for reassemble. Who da thunk! Thank you!
200,000 mile and have never had any of these problems since bought new. Where do they find these people? all of these problems happen if you don't keep up your vehicles.
At 3:25 of the video you show removing the injector connector. Does it affect operation of the injectors or just to help secure the injector cap? Asking because my suburban has a rough idle and the injector connector is hanging loose and I'm not able to connect it...not sure if damaged parts. The cap over the injector pins is tight without the injector connector being connected.
2012 clubman S...worst piece of junk i've ever owned and has ever been made. almost bankrupted me. i needed therapy after i dumped that garbage can and i still have nightmares. folks...don't do it, just don't do it.
Hi, What about if the mirror move in three directions up, right and left but doesn’t move down direction!! Is this most likely the motor issue or something else? Thank you
The 4 cylinder is a piece of cake compared to the 3.0L VVT GDI V6. All the repair pretty much require dropping the engine and subframe cradle out the bottom.
I bought a used truck and had a caliper leaking. Turned out a previous owner for whatever reason removed the bleed screw then forced a more coarse threaded screw in and it did not seal. This of course ruined the caliper.
Help, have this tapping sound going over bumps, rock driveway. Changed both lower arms, axles, sway bars, struts, top motor mounts, hydralic mount. Still same tapping sound. Its driving me nuts ..lol..
I love the comment thread. Truly great cars. 2016 from new with over 229K miles. VW fanbois will try to slam our 'Rollas for being "boring", "not being THAT reliable", or that fifty years of owner stories and data is "anecdotal", but as real people paying for their own things, we know the truth about our cars and their utter superiority.
Which oil should I use? My car is nissan versa 2007 1.8 litter engine, mileage is almost 217000km, my recommended engine oil is 5w30, I want to use High millage synthetic oil. Should I use 10w30 or 5w30, It's summer time in Vancouver, but it rains a lot. The weather is mostly 9 to 17 degrees Celsius here during summer. I drive a lot like every day for 8 to 10 hrs.
My engine oil cooler was dog 💩, had a leak for a couple years and had no clue where it was coming from and one day I started my car and the engine oil cooler exploded and all the oil fell out. Had it checked and fixed and I had no clue there was a such thing as an oil cooler. (Im not to smart with cars and engines)
