Arbuckle Bros. was based in New York until 1930, and was merged into Maxwell House around 1935. The new company seems to date back to 1979 and uses the abandoned names (unused trademarks can be used by anyone after a certain period). So there's a certain amount of deception involved. Kraft Heinz still sells the Yuban blend started by Arbuckle.
@@HawkMeyerOutdoorsthe correction comes now. Since you wisely said you didn't know if it was the original, that was clarification. And these days 1979 is an older company.
For those of you who don't know, you ALWAYS trust a man in camo and a Buc-cee's hat. I just bought a Gen 5 21 and CANNOT decide on a red dot. Leaning toward the Holosun SCS MOS. Any recommendations would be appreciated!!!
Wise words! The gen 5 21 is awesome. You cannot go wrong with holosun. The SCS model is a great choice with the dual lens design. The 507 has been solid but the front lenses get dirty on the inside easily when you are out in the woods. So pretty much an incased dual lens red dot is preferable.
@@edgarjaviermaderalaporta9063 I think you hit the nail on the head, you can't find an affordable American-made sxs. I try to make it a point to buy American made products. My complaint isn't so much with this gun; it's more of a complaint about the lack of affordable American-made 28 gauge side by side shotguns. If you know of any, please let me know.
@@HawkMeyerOutdoors I am uruguayan, know a little Usa because I live in San Francisco and Charlestow(for my job). But I give you some info. When I buy my las shot gun, in the pack said CZ usa. After, checking, I discover it is made in Turkey Majority, today is imposible or almos, find a gun made in the country of the brand. Even old brands like Remington, Weatherby and Mossberg.
@@edgarjaviermaderalaporta9063 I was considering the cz bobwhite, but was less enthusiastic when I discovered that it was made in Turkey. Nothing against Turkish or Brazilian made guns, but I'd rather have an American gun. I think it comes down to nostalgia, a side by side is a very classic style shotgun and a domestic made shotgun would only add to the nostalgia.
@@HawkMeyerOutdoors If I have to decide, I prefer the turkes. I am very hapy with my CZ Mallard. And now planing buy a Bobwhite in 28 GA. Wod finish is amazing for the price, and mechanical, what I can said...Nothing new under the sun.
@@stick3024 thanks for the comment! I can't complain about BCA. Think about the thousands of people who are AR owners now because BCA brings an affordable option to the market
A little 28 ga strikes me as a great squirrel gun. A bit more shot payload than .410 and far better ammo availability these days for some yet to be explained reason. I really like .410 for squirrels, but the .410 ammo situation has become increasingly bad lately and has been pretty much not cost effective for my lifetime really. When cost is 2:1 against you and availability and shelf options are bad, .410 as a dedicated squirrel and rabbit gun isn't practical.
@@johnnorman7708 very good point! .410 is scarce here as well. I can usually pick between different 28ga loads at the store, but the .410 shelf is usually empty. Thanks for the comment and for watching!
@HawkMeyerOutdoors it just worked itself out. I thought it may have been the Monarch shells from academy but I just ran 3 more boxes with zero failures.
There are ways of reducing the noise on the first shot. But mainly for me the suppressor is there for my ears. Definitely helps in that department. Thanks for the view and comment.
@@HawkMeyerOutdoors It was just a great example as most don't understand the can comes to life after the first shot.. And for hunting purposes outside of hogs it's pointless. Game for 5miles now know your in the woods. Lol.
This was truly a great experience we are looking for more free lead and possibly a new mold for other types of weights. Thanks for the view and comment.
Very good review! I like how you described how to access your tool. You are the only one I have seen explain it like that. I believe if I got one of these I would sew a pull tab on that corner of the bag.
Excellent idea! I plan on buying another one at some point. At this point the pack is an edc for anything outdoors. I can’t recommend it enough. Thanks for the view and sub.
@HawkMeyerOutdoors I did watch your video and it proves my point. Show me a 5 shot moa group at 50yds. Sure it's a squirrel rifle. But Bear Creek advertises match grade barrel. 11 degree target crown. A match grade barrel should be able to shoot moa at 50yds with match ammo. I have quite a few target rifles and bought the BC 201 with high hopes. Mine was plagued with light primer strikes. 5 out of 10 shots at least. Horrible accuracy with multiple types of match ammo. Scopes used Riton 6-24 x50 and Blackhound 6-24 x59. 2 different shooters. I sent the rifle in for repair. Bear Creek did not fix the light primer strikes. They sent a target back they had shot 7 times. The group size for those 7 shots was just under 2 inches. That's laughable 🤣 I've sent 3 emails to BC asking for a firing pin. No response. Most guys that I know that have the BC 201 have changed barrels or thinking about it. Every BC 201 that I've seen shoots no better than a standard 10-22.
@@BoomstickMark5 we weren't shooting match grade ammo in our video and we were using a bipod versus sandbags. I'm sure with better ammo and sandbags we could easily shrink our groups. Our rifle is set up more for hunting and not putting holes in paper. We're using higher velocity rounds with hollow points; more ethical kills. I've always shot better groups with standard velocity rounds. As far as the light primer strikes, we haven't run into that problem with our rifle. I hope that helps, Good luck with everything.
Mine was made for rifle rounds. Unfortunately they do not make one specifically for a crossbow. Try PETAC GEAR Tactical Buttstock Rifle Stock Pack on amazon. It look like the rifle cartridge card is removable and you will be left with a hook and loop (Velcro) outer panel. Hope it helps.
@@HawkMeyerOutdoors it’s BCA. No one needs to watch the video. You’ll shoot 7 rounds the entire time you own it, and tell everyone else it’s “just as good sonny”. While not getting any training.
@@taylorbell3422 stay tuned! We'll prove that this thing can handle more than 7 rounds lol. Also, could you recommend a trainer? You seem like a high speed type of bro lol
@@HawkMeyerOutdoorsto be fair, you did shoot EVEN LESS than what he said. I think the anger comes from promoting/endorisng a company that very obviously does not produce high quality products for your own benefit. Won’t be subscribing to this channel
@@probjungling6093 I totally understand that bca isn't for everyone. And it's ok if you don't subscribe to the channel, but I challenge you to continue to watch our 8.6 videos. We have plenty of videos and hunts planned with it. See what it can do and develop a more informed opinion. Thanks for watching and sorry we couldn't earn your subscription
@@HawkMeyerOutdoors I have the original, not the SMF. It has pinpoint precision. The only issue I see is the Boltcutter broadheads - they are suoer accurate but really lack in bloodtrails. I am going to test out the new 150 grain single bevel Magnus heads - if they fly conaistent then they will be used.
This is off topic but how are politicians able to decide if we should have assault rifles or not? This assault rifle ban is retarded I can’t own anything semi auto because somehow a piece of plastic wrapped around your barrel is a scary assault rifle feature, that especially is strictly a loop they’re doing to get around banning m14’s
My 18" BCA 450BM uppers wont cylce, duramag and ASC 450 mags, swapped to H3 buffer and spring, federal and Hornady ammo, still a single shot upper since it was brand new. I AWLAYS strip uppers, lowers and all firearms down before sending the first round down range to ensure they are clean amd properly lubed. 100% regret wasting money on this upper! I should have waited until better brands came back in stock
@HawkMeyerOutdoors guess I should, kinda threw it on the shelf and put my PSA upper back on it. Lol. Sub MOA, cant Complain about that, especially with a big bore, just wish she cycled mixture of stove pipes, FTE as well as feeding issues when she does eject correctly, so hard to nail down
@@Rex-bo1rf yes! With that being said, it's a good idea to have multiple ways to get a fire going. I use those fire plugs when I don't have the time or when everything else is wet
