I'd like to know - I wonder - would anyone like to take a guess as to What Was The First Time An Audience (away from Nashville) Knew The Words To A Sierra Ferrell Song And Maybe Surprised Sierra Ferrell By Singing along???
Judging by how many videos of her live performances I've found on RU-vid, Sierra must be one of the hardest working singers out there. And what a band she has! To me it's fun that she wears Mardi Gras-type costumes in her shows -- I bet she got to enjoying them when she was busking in New Orleans. She doesn't need them -- but she enjoys them. She can sing old and new songs in more varied styles than anyone I can think of -- and get them just right. Thanks, Sierra.

There was a song i listened to in the 50's called Buckshot which is in your style, but dont know who sang it. it was on a 78 record. one verse " I was stealin watermelons down on the farm, walking cross the patch with one in each arm, I heard a big bang & I left the ground, there's no mistak'in that familiar sound--It was BUCKSHOT, Buckshot"
