Welcome! This is the place to watch old games, unpopular and underrated titles, with moderate skill and a lot of talking! I’ll also post artwork drawing and miniature painting sessions! So a bit of everything.
This one looks pretty good compared to the other ones that are out there I own two of them and they’re horrible to cut it but this one looks more steady and stronger the one I own is made of plastic and the part shifts around sometimes you have to hold it down very hard.
Honestly after building so much Gunpla, I really enjoy getting to use my plastic cement on MaK kits. Definitely complex builds when it comes to the painting process. I usually just build the whole thing and then paint in parts whenever possible.
I think I had a priming video recorded but it was low quality 😢 I do however have a different video showing hand priming using the same stuff: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-AaLk5VnKg-k.htmlsi=k-I7uLzSmML7qqZC
Your hand painting skills are top notch man. I also really think that advice about stepping away from the model so that you can see it with fresh eyes from time to time is really important and helpful. I often fall into the trap of just trying to work until something is finished, and then I feel like I overdid certain things or maybe even got into a pattern that gives an odd unrealistic look.
I appreciate it! I’m still trying to learn and try new things. Yes I also feel that, like focusing on something and overworking it, but it’s hard to pull away because your in a groove. Breaks are great!
Very good, I already did tests, now the million dollar question, for the purposes of varnishing before applying decals and washes, what is it sealed with? because that must be sealed before applying decals and oils and then sealing again. I hope you can comment, thank you very much
what is the size of the model and the pilot in mm? these models look so cool i want to combine them with models from other sculptors. your version looks so awesome
Was it your birthday? If so a belated happy birthday to you my friend. If not then uh...disregard! haha. Anyway, it's good to know about the neck issue with this kit, I have her as well but not built, and she looks pretty good I would say. The clear effect parts are neat too. Thanks for sharing 🐤
The MGSD ASW-G-08 Gundam Barbatos is an amazing kit for sure. What I want to know is if we're going to see the other variants released via an _Expansion Set_ like the HG and MG. Speaking of variants, I'm surprised there's no MG ASW-G-08 Gundam Barbatos Lupus and MG ASW-G-08 Gundam Barbatos Lupus Rex still. 🤷♂ What do you think the next MGSD is going to be?
This was filmed in a Virginia Target last last, but since then they’re now available in Canada. I’ve seen them at a variety of grocery stores, “Metro” here in Ontario and Wal-Mart.
I love their products and use them in a lot of my builds. The only thing I have to always watch for are those hard edges. I always end up knocking them back and smoothing them out. Nice job on those! -John
It's cool that you're into so many different things, and neat to see that we share a lot of interests 🐥 Its always good to go where your creative heart guides you. Even if it goes against what you think you should be doing, it's still good to allow whatever it is inside of you to come out in the way that it needs. I love gaming, drawing, painting, building too, and would definitely like to see what you do with these hobbies as well.
I feel like, I just want to make stuff, I'm sure you know the feeling too. If its models or art or youtube etc, so long as I'm creating things! Thanks for your encouraging words!
