I am a holistic practitioner who works with people and animals. I also love to make candles but been taught that fragrance oils are very toxic to animals especially. Is this true for all fragrance oils? I feel torn and not sure what to do, perhaps switching to animal friendly essential oils is best? And I use soy and soy coconut waxes rather than paraffins. I have found that lining my table with a thick cheap table cloth and pouring with my vessels inside of a large aluminum pan…allows me to fill up my 8’ table with at least 75 candles..depending on vessel size.
THIS IS VERY SIMPLE AND i DID NOT SEE THAT YOU USED LYE WHICH IS WHAT I LIKE TO DO WITHOUT! THE OTHER INGREDIANTS ARE SOME OF MY FRAGRANCE AND INGREDIANTS: HOENY, VITAMIN E AND SWEET ALMOND OIL. DOES YOUR OIL COME OUT WELL WITH THE OILS ADDED AND HOW MUCH OIL DID YU USE OR WHAT IS SUGGESTED SO THAT THAT CONSITTENCY AND DURABILITY REMAINS AFTER 1 OR 2 USES? HAVE YOU USED FLOWERS AND IF SO HOW DID THEY HOLD UP? HOW DO YOU STORE THEM? DO THEY GO INTO THE REFRIGERATOR? Hello everyone! PLEASE HELP ME ! I poured candles into glass by layering two colors on top of each other. There are three layers on top of each other, and after cooling, a white stripe appeared between the layers. I wonder what it could be?
