Awesome build. When I lived in rural Maryland I picked up a crusty old lawn tractor snow blower attachment at an auction for a couple dollars. I modified it to attach to my 1951 Simplicity Walk-behind Tractor. It worked pretty well if somewhat under-powered running from the ≈4hp motor.
So is it safe to seal off the brake booster port with the added seal plug on an edelbrock carb or do I have to use teflon tape I was told not to use tape by a whole bunch of people then some people said use it not I can't figure out who to believe.
Nice job !! You remind me of me !! Jobs always change 10 times while your doing them but like my Dad always said… you just dope it out son , youll get it ! Take care .
I've restored a number of older generators and lawn mowers. After I find out if the engine will fire, I plug in a 120 volt lamp and run the engine on starter fluid just long enough to know if the power head is working.
I have a set of those fancy oil drain pans too! They work great! Nice job partner. I rework generators too. I have a ultrasonic cleaner that does wonders for those carburetors. Just subbed to your channel. Thanks!
I was getting ready to click on the next video because your intro was too long, and then I saw the vgg sweatshirt and I'm thought to myself "yup, this guy knows what he's doing"
What were the symptoms? I've got a high pitched whine that starts up after she gets warmed up after 10 or 15 minutes, quieter when I'm accelerating but constant at all speeds
