This video talks about 24-70mm, but your thumbnail shows a Sony 12-24mm f/2.8. I know what lens is shown in the thumbnail without looking at its model name/number. You don’t actually know much about photography.
Another notable downside of the RF 15-35/2.8 is its plastic barrel. For its price a proper build quality should be expected. Also the vignetting is reaching over 4 stops which is ridiculous. This lens is not worth the money at all. A "secret" tip for a very well engineered UWA lens is Sigma 14-24/2.8. Its build quality, image quality and overall feel compared to its price makes it an extremely good value for the money.
Can you call 65 macro when its just 1:2 magnification? I think at least 1:1 is accepted magnification ratio to concider something true macro lens and it have been that way for 20+ years. Anyway, good tip with 110mm, will have a look at performance if it can really compete with Laowa 100 or 90. If its not really significantly better, (which I doubt as Laowa is already optically top class), it would probably still be better to go Laowa (half price, 2:1 macro). What is missing here is Laowa 25mm f/2.8 2.5x-5x, thats also highly regarded macro lens for its optical performance and quite unique (Astrhori recently copied the idea with their 2x-5x, but their build quality is lacking and its optically worse). And Laowa probe macro lens is also very interesting option for videography.

A Macro Lens is not defined if it can focus to 1:1, A Macro Lens is a Lens that are designed to do the best optical image quality at close range and can mange to shoot a flat field. For the last 20 years noobs have made their own rules of many thinks in photography, which gives too many confusions and misunderstanding, even some lies. I have both the Voigtländer Macro Lenses, you do not get any better ! I have done Macro Photography for 45 years both as a professional and as a hobby photographer.
I have seen review with image quality test and that 110mm f2.5 is just amazing. That definitely deserves a spot and I am inclined to trust you that you wont find better. At least I cant think of better performing one, especially towards edges of frame.
@@anupew3276 It is very sharp from center to the edge and the overall rendering are superb. Now I rarely use my Sony 135mm 1.8 GM which is so big and heavy.
