I've seen a couple Star Wars fan films, and they were good. When I first saw the trailer for the PODRACER, I got excited and was looking forward to seeing a fan film about Podracing. I was greatly disappointed when I read the description saying that the trailer was the entire fan film. This would have made a great TV series and could have been introduced new fans to the racing sport. Podracers vs Tie-Fighters, now that would have been something to watch. Podracing was only seen once in Episode 1: The Phantom Menace and returned in the 2022 Darth Vader comics. I think it's cool that there are fans who also enjoy Podracing as much as I do and want the racing sport to make a comeback. It would be really great if sometime in the near future, the writers give the racing fans a movie about Podracing. Maybe the plot could be about the person who created the racing sport and how it gathered the first generation of racers. You did a great job with Blender 3D, keep up the good work.

Nice pod. It's interesting; this was a very high-quality video, but got so little traction. I searched after realizing I'd NEVER seen a pod racer fan animation (other than some like 2005 Newgrounds Flash animation or something).

holy crap that looks amazing

An actual pod racing film would give Disney the excuse to briefly explore new worlds in the Star Wars lore, introduce new characters, alien races, explore the criminal underbelly of the republic (that they horribly tried to do in Book of Boba Fett) and give us more of the single best thing from Episode 1 (besides Duel of the Fates and that lightsaber fight).

This is a way to get George to come back and direct a movie and holy hell it would be the best star wars movie ever. Could you imagine? His writing is perfectly cheesy for a racing movie. Hell a big reason why phantom menace kinda flopped was the over attention to the podracing scene. Very expensive for just 5 minutes, by dude this scene changed cinema. I really like the pod design for your hero. Genuinely looks like he built it out of stuff he found in a junkyard just like Anakin did. I really feel like Disney has let pod racing fade into obscurity. It's sad because you can have heroes in sports.
