Yes! I love this setup. Totally recommend it. Cheaper elevated stands are also available that work just as well or perhaps better! I also recommend using an Apple mouse or trackpad as you will miss out on your swipe commands and the smooth scrolling with off-brand ones. Even the nice $100 mice like the Logitech MX Masters
Not entirely true. There are apps/scripts like xGestures that can bind these functions to your mouse by holding in the Scroll wheel for example. I recommend this way as the Apple mouse are absolutely horrible for ergonomics.
Strongly considering the Fuse box because of the shape and the location of the top pocket. I currently have a nice North Face backpack but the problem I have with it is that using the front pockets use up the internal volume of the pack. They can bulge internally so much that it becomes difficult to use the main pocket. Having that top pocket instead would eliminate this problem. Previously I had packs with front pockets that protrude from the pack. I did not appreciate how useful that could be.
Great video, i guess the major issue is switching between layouts, when using different computer at work for example, and even more when you need to use a AZERTY layout keyboard everyday. I am considering this keyboard but i am not sure i can overcome the layout context switching,
Thanks James for this insightful video as I am new to Sunsama. I also like your phrase ‘script for the day’ rather than the usual ‘list of tasks’. Looking forward to watching other videos you have made.
This is a great idea! Just tried it and it seems to work great, though the screens seem a bit far away and small. But yeah totally workable. Probably not something that I can use on a train but oh well.
Thanks for making this video! Interesting system. Is there a way for calendar events to automatically populate? I’m in 2+ organizations in Asana, can you connect more than one? What about multiple email addresses?
What keyboard and mouse do you use??? Does it matter on the Bluetooth type? My question is when using the bluetooth keyboard, that’s already connected and dual screening your laptop and iPad, can the Bluetooth mouse be used on your iPad? For an example, let’s say I’m getting a USB mouse and keyboard, but that can only plug into my laptop(without any extra extensions). Could that USB Bluetooth be used on my iPad as well? I think I made this more complicated than it actually is. But someone, PLEASE HELP I NEED TO KNOW ASAP FOR COLLEGE AND I CANT FIND ANY ANSWERS ANYWHERE 🥲
