Thanks for this! I did my belt, waterpump and pulleys yesterday. I just wonder one thing, why does the tensioner turn anti clockwise to set? When taking off the old tensioner, it was tensioned up clockwise.. 😅
Thanks. Why the piezoelectric part of the injectors fail in some of the 1.5 dci motors ? What can we do? Is there a better alternative injector to fit in ? Just after completed the 5 yr warranty time, I suffered 2 burnt injectors in 6 months with only 21,000 km . Unreliable car Duster II diesel of 2018, not fuel issue.
Thanks. Ihave a Dacia Duster II diesel 1.5 of 2018. Just after completed the 5 yr warranty time, with only 21,000 km I suffered 2 failed injectors within 6 months. It cost me 1,200€ to have them replaced and a lot of time lost, searching and frustration. No fuel problem. The piezoelectric part, the called "sensor" is burnt. Why this happening? Low quality product ? Is there any better quality injector brand to replace the Siemens/Continental injectirs ?
Excellent vlog, I serviced the wifes ecosport couple of weeks ago and used blue print for filters, NGK iridium spark plugs and Westway oil, kind regards to you and everyone out there, Mark from Billericay 😃👍
Well done. Helped me a bunch, and saved me a ton of money I would have spent on a new one. Thank you, and keep up the good work. Is there a known torque spec for a nip, or just a bit? LOL. Just kidding, thank you.
Unfortunately, there was 25% missing to make this video fully professional. You know that you actually have to slacken both camshaft pulleys to tension the belt correctly. The camshaft pulley rotates loosely, so the camshaft pulleys should rotate loosely, which is why a rear flat bar is used 👍👌
Hello.. I have a 2013 renault/dacia duster. The car suddenly stopped working when I was driving it.. apparently the FVR(fuel Intake solenoid valve) was faulty (thats what the mechanic told me. Now I got another pre used valve and when I connect it to a 12 volt power source, it pulsates forward and backwards.. about 3 times a second .. Now when I connect it to the car, (the car connector terminals read about 9.5 volts (which is correct I guess because I confirmed it from another video) But, the solenoid doesn’t open.. it keeps vibrating.. and the engine doesn’t start.. Now, I cut the isolating rubber ring on the old valve and connected it (basically bypassed it) and the engine started..(with low fuel economy but it runs) thus ruling out pump, filter issue.. I am not able to figure out if it is an ECM problem (maybe the voltage drops on load.. im not able to check on load voltage because the connector wraps around the entire connectors.. but when the connector is open, it shows 9.5 volts I would also like to add that since a few months the car was giving a fuel volume regulator control circuit range/performance P0002 error (but it used to go away on its own).. So again, should I get the ECM checked? Or it could be that the other used valve is faulty as well?
Thanks for sharing, thinking of giving this a go. I'll watch a few more times then decide. 👍🏻 My biggest concern is supporting the engine when taking the mount off. Electrician who likes to give most things ago myself. 🚗
So our V60 (2014) just had a service and it says 12 months or 17000 until the next service but it says 'oil service required' on the dash. Are there 2 separate resets for oil and service? wouldn't have thought so. The oil level isn't available either when going through the correct procedure to get the oil level.
