For a brief moment back between 1970 and 1975 or so. North America (Both USA and Canuks) Imported the German made Ford (Branded as a Mercury over here in North America) CAPRI. It was available with a 4 speed manual, and the V6 models and even the 302 V8 (That or people were just putting them in at the dealership?) for at least a few years. I had two of them when I was a teenager and did amateur rally racing out in Northern Alberta (Grande Prairie, Dunes and parking lots. Usually the Original Co-op lot back in the early 1980's). They were AWESOME!!! Now I drive BMW's because they are the closest I can get to those old Capri's.
